Just a quick poll caz I'm interested.

XBOX 360 Owners PS3 Owners PC Exclusive Gamers

If you have both the XBOX 360 and PS3, choose the poll for whichever you prefer. If you have a Wii U - too bad!

Wouldn't be a forum post without a giveaway.

Neither.

I already have a 360, need to save money to buy a new pc. I'll never waste 400/500€ on a gaming console, it's way too much, i bought my 360 for 240€ with gears 2 D:

After buying every console since (and including) from Nintendo and Microsoft since the NES and the first Xbox 1 (^^) and only buying 3 games total for my Wii (only zelda, same for the gamecube -.-) and Xbox 360.
I've come to the realization that there's no use (for me) in having a console anymore if you have a powerful PC and that those few exclusives are not worth it (even though it certainly pains me not being able to play a new zelda title...) .
It's a shame... every time I look at the TV and I see my barely used Xbox 360 and Wii

I don't have PS3/X360, I have a Wii. I would go with PS4 for sure, since I had PS2 and I don't really like Microsoft's console. Plus all that DRM and crap like that, hell no for Xbox One.
But the truth is, before PS4 I will buy Wii U. I really like Nintendo games, they are much different from all the action shooters we get nowadays. I already have PC for that. If MGS V would come out on PC, I'd be happy without PS4. New Super Smash Bros and Monolith Soft's new game (that trailer, damn!) really makes me want to buy Wii U.

PS4 maybe, I want to see if the PS+ gets more expensive or still gives free games.

But until I know the answere by confirmation of Sony, I keep it with my PC....

..and PS3.

Xbox one is to expensive for what you get. Plus you can't resell your used games apparently. No exclusive games etc so Xbox one is a big NO for me:) Never had Wii U because it looks to much like an overgrown childs toy ;) but I do have a PS3. I do not know if I would buy the PS4. I'll wait a couple of weeks or months depending if the bugs are fixed. So for me the PS4 is "a maybe buy".

I was planning on getting the ps4 as the xbox one is too anti-consumer and I am a sony fan and like their exclusives, but then.... sony announced that now you have to pay to play online. I will stick with my pc until the ps4 slim version 4.5 mega bundle or whatever comes out.

Fair point but you're not just paying to play online, you get access to everything that PS+ brings with it, including the instant game collection

Personally, for myself, I just don't see any reason whatsoever to own any console. Perhaps something small on the go, but in such cases I just tend to read books, if not using laptop or snoozing, depending on what we're talking about.

If I was forced to pick one of the two, the things as they look now I suppose I'd pick PS4 but again, in reality I have no intention of buying anything of sorts. I'd be more interested in stuff like Oculus Rift if I were to spend some money in near future on gaming hardware.

So, I completely skipped on the PS3 - wasn't interested in one until earlier this year. Also didn't get a 360 until about 3 years ago. Had a Wii for a while, that I bought on release day. And I've PC gamed the whole time as well. I love my steam games, but not all my friends are PC gamers, so having a console or two is nice to play with them. As of right now I have a 360 from current generation.

After seeing E3, I fully intend to buy a PS4 (haven't been this excited about a console since little 8-year-old me read about SNES previews in EGM and GamePro). Won't ever bother with the XBOne. Probably grab a Wii U at some point - mostly for the wife.

I will only buy the Xbox One in about 5 years when I can get second hand ones for less than £200. I am going to consider getting the PS4 in a few years time when it will be slightly cheaper than the launch price. It was funny to see Microsoft so confident and then Sony completely ruining the Xbox One by making a console that is better in almost all aspects apart from some of the 'exclusive' games that only Xbox One is getting. Personally I think PC gaming is slowly becoming the norm and eventually consoles will become a thing of the past. It's quite sad as I have fond memories of console gaming when I was younger but the benefits of PC gaming really overweigh the consoles. So, depending on how I feel about gaming in general in a few years, I may consider picking up a PS4.
