How are the estimated wins calculated? I only have 200 more entries than OP, but my estimated wins are about 6.5 while is aren't even 2. Is it based on what the odds are of the giveaways you enter? And is contributor value calculated into that?

I have no sympathy based on your amount of entries. Your estimation of 2 wins isn't as unlucky was those who have 6 estimated and no wins.

I feel so lucky now - 370 entries and 2 wins. I found out that I started winning my games after I created giveaways and entered contributor giveaways. The number of people that "apply" are a lot less, and since I normally "bid" on lesser known games as compared to the multi-platform ones and such, I guess my odds increased a lot more.

Just enter small giveaways. I was lucky I won my first game around 100 giveaways entered. :D
