I wonder if you have banknotes from European countries that had their own currency before they joined the Eurozone? Like Estonian crones, Latvia lats, Lithuanian litas?

I'm pretty passionate about cars, and especially carspotting. It's just so exciting to go out and unexpectedly see a rare car out on the town :D

Well, I love praying mantises. I think they are awesome animals, and I own quite a few of them. I could watch them all day. They have somehow big personalities: sometimes they dance, sometimes they love to interact, sometimes they just like to be one with their environment.
Their lifecycle is neat and I like to make sure they are comfortable. In france there are a few endemic species that are quite awesome, including empusae's who look really neat (they can also hibernate). They take a big part in the ecosystem regulation of other insects are their appetite knows no bounds.
Ye I'm pretty sure you can say I'm really passionate about mantises :>

Of course !
I have currently 3 different species at home and 6 mantises.
This is my biggest mantis. It's a rhombodera megarea -giant shield mantis- female, one of the largest species.
She have a lot of personality and she like to explore her environment. She likes a treat of honey water once in a while, and like to be petted on her belly and back. She usually watches me when I enter my room, as she is turning her head to observe me.
She is also my first adult mantis, and have grown some massive wings as she passed into adulthood.
Next is a Chlinodoptera Lestoni, one genus of spiny flower mantis. It's a really small mantis, but she's also really pretty. She doesn't move around much cause she wait for hey prey to approach her. But instead of being hidden she likes to be seen as much as possible (like a flower would be). She doesn't like pettings due to her size but she likes to crawl on my hand from time to time.
Last specie is philocrania paradoxa, the ghost mantis. I actually own four of them: three males and one female. They are a really interesting specie and due to their low agressivity they can be kept together. They camouflage as leafs so they dance a lot: they dance to mimic the wind blowing on the leaves. They have small interactions between one another, which is really cute. Their handling is simple cause they move really slowly as they keep dancing as they walk to match their camouflage most of the time. They like pettings on their belly and honey water treats.

I'm passionate about collecting small fancy rocks I come across where I happen to travel to remember the places I happen to go to. Haven't been able to do so for a couple years due to you know what but still I look forward to continue doing so in the near future. So for now I make another passion for gaming XD
I hope you are having a wonderful day!

I'd say that I'm passionate about old architecture. Going to a European cathedral or even the defunct hotel at the center of my small town, it's nice to explore it to see how the old masters could create beautiful works of art that serve a greater purpose than just to be ogled at. The older parts of towns especially in places like Paris had a different aura to them where I could just sit down for hours and appreciate the bustle of life.

Right now i'm passionate about collecting games on steam and also GOG, y'know exploring sales, catching good deals, finding hidden gems, building my collections little by little (steamgifts serves that purpose great btw). And i curate my collections meticulously according to my criterias-preferences and expanding on games-genres i'm interested in as i own more and more games, naturally. I love it! ๐

Dear Wadayeshara,
It might sound weird but I own some really nice spoons. Every piece is connected to a certain person, place or part of my life. (first appartment, work abroad, etc.) They are not collectibles, I use the like every other spoon but somehow I want to keep them in my life, like old memories. I really like them.
Best Regards,
Sir Myr the 13th.

Whew, where to start...
Videogames... duh, obviously, I would not be here otherwise. I really appreciate the artistic value they hold. Its a marriage of diverse artforms, such as writing, visual arts, songwriting, which, done right, create an experience as complex and unique as nothing else among entertainment media. Of course, not all games are the same in this regard and I wont say that any Call of Duty have the same artistic values as Gris, but the potential that interactivity adds to storytelling is enormous.
I also love visual arts in general. I have an intuitive, creative mind, which I like to explore trough drawing and photography. There are few things as inspiritional as watching your thoughts and ideas manifesting by your very own hands!
I am also very curious by nature and love to learn new things! From sciences like biology, technology and astronomy to psychology, history and philosophy.
Also languages, self-improvement (both mental and physical), criminalistics, competetive sports...
And this is just scratching the surface. As blessed as I feel for having tons of interests, its kind of a curse too, as I am prone to get bored fast with the same topic so I jump from one to another without really deepening my knowledge and experience at any of the given fields. I feel like I am an incompetent jack of all trades, but the master of none.

I know Latin. I spent all 4 years of high school learning it. Linguistics is just such a cool field and I love learning the etymology of words to help me know what they mean. Also, it really helped for the SAT lol.
Also, I've been coding since 3rd grade when I taught myself python and javascript and am currently continuing that passion by majoring in it.

I've always been someone who can't settle on one thing - I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, but with everything, including hobbies and interests. For this reason, my passions are many. The obvious first passion is video games, especially ones which you could almost call art due to their style, writing, or music (Ori is a great example of that). I love when I finish playing a game, and I keep thinking about it days later.
Other than that, I have a passion for all things dragons - art, trinkets and whatnot. I also love pixel art a lot, and try to draw some myself at times. I'm actually starting a new piece just now, hopefully that gets anywhere (other than the trash bin). :P
I also like to "play" (improvise) the piano, and compose/produce music. I'm not great at it, and I don't really publish anything I make, but it's a fun hobby and another passion of mine. Unlike most people who make music I'm not in it to get an audience (unless someone asks to listen to some of it). It's really just fun for me to create things that sound good to my ears. :D

Mostly, I'm passionate about my endearing moron of a kitty. I'm also a fan of independent cinema and rock music (mostly made in 90's-2000's, but obviously there was a lot of awesome stuff before then as well). Then, there are video games, of course (almost solely adventure games and RPGs, basically everything with a good story). An unfortunate sphere of my interests is politics, me living in Russia makes this topic a very painful one.

I have no major passions. I have a few minor ones, one of which definitely is seeing the number of whitelists I'm included on increase. I'm not sure why, since I'm not even entering giveaways, so it's not like it increases my chances of anything. But I like to think that everyone who's included me on their whitelist has only done so after careful consideration, so it means each of these people genuinely thinks I'm a good person, so I get slightly happier seeing the number go up. Please don't shatter my dreams by explaining that's not at all how it works.

No... though now I'm curious what prompted that question. (I've literally never played Runescape, is this a joke on the gameplay?)

I used to collect coins and banknotes when I was younger (still have them of course). Used to play volleyball but then I quit. I used to play a lot of videogames, but now work and stuff. I love playing cards with my friends, but it's hard to meet with everybody's appointments :c
Nothing really interesting, really.

I have a few passions of mine.
In my spiritual life, I am passionate about my Catholic faith. I wouldn't say I am the most well-versed or pious of the bunch, but I do make a concerted effort to live my values and treat others with the love and respect they deserve.
I am passionate about my family. As the oldest of my siblings, I help to support and take care of my family where I can, and I do my best to ensure they have a decently comfortable life, even if it is at the expense of me reaching traditional goals.
I am passionate about programming. I am a software engineer by trade, and I contribute to open-source software in my free time. It comes naturally to me. I feel fulfilled when I can solve a problem that others have difficulty solving because I was able to help. I feel like contributing to open source is a way of giving back to a community, a way of repaying the help that others have given to me and my company by providing tools I can use.

Well, probably my main hobby, if I can call it that, is my cats (although sometimes I think that I am their hobby). Now I have three cats, and I can say that they are amazing - each of them has its own character, its own individual features, they are completely different - I can recognize any of them by any movement, any sound they make (even steps). Even if it seems that these are very free animals, in fact, cats, as I feel, are much more loyal than dogs.
P. S: Also, in addition to cats, I have two canaries and a rat. And I will say that making them friends with each other was extremely difficult, nevertheless, it succeeded.

Hey! I was inspired by the share a funfact whitelist recruitment thread and thought I would do my own! I do not have a lot of people on my whitelist, so I would like to expand it and once I have added a sufficient amount of people I will do a big giveaway (haven't decided what, but probably a highly wanted/expensive game)
Here is my only requirement, in the comments tell me something you are passionate about. I love to hear people talk about things they love so I thought that would be fun! If you want you can tell me why you are passionate about the thing, but you do not have to. It can be anything. I'll go first. I am very passionate about drag artists, as in drag queens, drag kings etc. I love drag, I think it's so fun and just watching drag performances makes me smile. I could talk about them all day.
Your turn! Everyone who tells me of a passion of theirs will be added to my WL, at least for a while until the thread gets too large.
