Probably the thing I'm most passionate about is films and shows. I love every genre and about anything, as long as it's decent and not the bottom of the barrel story or acting-wise. I also love watching reactions to my favorite shows or movie scenes, and one of my big guilty pleasures is going on some movie or show's IMDb reviews and depending on how good or bad it was, I'm sorting by reversed order rating, so if it's a great movie I'm going for the 1 or 2-star reviews and just having fun with stupid takes.
Some of my absolute favorite movies are: Shawshank Redemption, La vie d'Adele (Blue is the warmest color), the Planet of the Apes new trilogy, Sin City, Pulp Fiction, Baby Driver. And some of the shows I enjoyed the most would be: The Wire, Gomorrah, Breaking Bad, Doctor Who, and my actual favorite, Dexter, although I'm not considering it the best show ever made, that would be the first one on my list.

This could be really basic and cliché... But I have always been very passionate about football (soccer for people from USA), to the point of waking up at 6 AM, only to get the court for me. I could play it for 3 hours straight, and people had to tell me that they were tired xD, although that was on the past. Even if I didn't have people to play with, I would find a way to play for hours alone (hitting the crossbar, little plays with the ball, or just dribbling through the sidewalk or street). Right now, though, I am almost thirthy, and my parents made me go to university and get a good career, and lost almost all contact with football, but I still watch a lot of matches, youtube videos and so. And, of course, if there is a chance to actually play, I totally go fo it (and againt, the times almost doesn't matter).
With that being said, I don't like football videogames xD.

Videogames and dogs.
I'm not sure if any of those are my "passions" instead of hobbies. I have four dogs and occasionally work/volunteer for a transportation company, setting up vans etc.. Videogames are a fun past time, the first game I ever played was Okami. (Considering the main character though...)

I love playing golf. Been a keen golfer since about 13 years old. Even when its freezing cold and pouring down with rain, would spend hours on the course in my waterproofs. Travelled all around the UK, Portugal and even Hong Kong/China to play on courses there as well. Its a game where you can play competitively against anyone of any standard which is great. :)

I like climbing mountains and admiring the scenery. Always let me forget my troubles temporarily.

I have actually many passions. But they are rotating. IT was Warhammer 40k, then books, Star Wars, Star Trek, anime...
My lastest passion is... screenshots. I love taking screenshots of games I'm playing. Every choice, every dialogue, every look.
Let's say, Dragon Age Inquisition. I have 15.538 screenshots made. Well, at least I can check the story whenever I want

Any suggestions for WH40K? I was thinking of buying a 500pts army, but I realized I won't really have anyone to play with..
Now I'm thinking about starting Horus Heresy. Is that a good idea?

That's a really deep question.
Personally I am not entirely sure. There are some days I am extremely passionate about video games, and then other days I kind of wish they would auto-play themselves so I can binge anime instead. I think there's some imbalance issues I need to get checked up on. For now let's just split the difference, and say both are my passions. xD If I could decorate everything I own in anime, or gaming skins I would. I got lucky, and discovered my love for both of these things at a very early age back before it became "Cool" to be into them. xD

ooh, i feel this. i've had interests/passions fall by the wayside because pursuing them felt like too much effort, or because i couldn't keep up with the demands of pursuing them.

Exactly. @_@ Sadly that's shut me down for a lot of things I wanted to pursue in life. Lost stem, and motivation before I got anywhere only to recycle the interest later. I end up wishing I had clones of myself to help me get it done... xD

i was really into tea for a while, particularly teas that were unusual in some way - country of origin, varietal, processing method, and so on. there are so many kinds out there beyond what you can buy in a supermarket, and there's such an amazing array of flavors that you can get from the leaves of this one plant species depending on where/how it's grown and what you do with it after picking. i had to back off from it because i got carried away and ended up with way more than i could drink.

I'm an avid reader, have been ever since I learned reading. I read fiction (various genre) and non-fiction (from a variety of fields) in German and English. Though very little verse, I just never really got into it.
At the last counting I had a close to 600 books, including Artbooks and excluding my books from childhood and most from my teens.
The other thing I'm passionate about is "Das Schwarze Auge" (The Dark Eye in English), a German Pen & Paper RPG. I'm playing this since 1992, but bought and read it since 1988.

I'm an actor, among other things, so I'm most passionate about performance: theater, readings, films, and the like. I spent a number of years photographing burlesque shows and performers too, though I've moved away from that (only so many hours in the day), so your interest in drag performers, wadayeshara, is easy to understand. (You probably know that many burlesque performers refer to their make-up and outfits as "drag" as well.) The past couple of years, spent mostly in isolation, have been rough on me and us; I did my first live performances in a while this past September, and it was a joy to be back on stage.

I'm sorta boring that way, but I got super into past civilizations, especially the Roman one, when I figured out that the history they teach us at school is basically a big lie to children, and I haven't let go of it since. It must run in the family, because my mom has been like that with the Egyptian civilization for many years too.
Also, I watch too much anime for my own good and I am pretty decent at looking at them in a clinical, analytical way, so that probably also counts. If I was also able to be funny in my outlook, I could probably make a small fortune making YouTube videos about it, but sadly enough I haven't got a funny bone in my body. :D

Hello wadayeshara how are you?
I'm enjoying this discussion and reading our friends' responses 😃
Well, in the last few years I've been developing a great passion for powerful (sport) bikes. I prefer two categories: the Nakeds (Streetfighters) and the Sports, in particular I'm in love with the models of the Kawasaki brand, I think they're very beautiful in green colors. I still have the dream of one day being able to buy one of these bikes, when I see some of them passing by on the streets my eyes even sparkle hahahaha 💚
All the best and Happy New Year! 😉

My passion is graphic designing. About a year ago I watched a video by Benny Productions and I was super fascinated about what he did. I started watching a ton of things similar to that and got inspired to do the same. For the past 3 years I've had a laptop that was as old as me so obviously that meant I couldn't run photoshop on it. On Christmas I got a new laptop and for the past few days all I've been doing is learning photoshop 😅

My passion is playing instruments. I want to learn playing 'klasik kemençe' so much for its calming voice.
When I was kid, playing football on the street was a passion for me, but not for my hater stupid neighbors. Since my new passion is louder than the childhood passion, I hope my neighbors don't try to stop me.again or my next passion would be satifying their *****.

For me, the problem with passion is that it leads to perfectionism, and then you start to notice all the little things that rub you the wrong way. For example, besides playing video games, I like listening to the music from said video games, but oh no! This track is too repetitive! Lemme just fire up Audacity and delete that part until it isn't repetitive anymore...there, that's better.

Reading fantasy books. I have read many Epic fantasy, steampunk, and various other genres. I look at best book of the month to discover new books and authors I have not read yet. Some authors include Seanan McGuire, Brandon Sanderson, and Naomi Novik.
Also, I enjoy short story collections with fantasy or Sci-fi.

Ex-small band Lead Vocal and I want to restart again. Also, an ex-MMA students and independent freerun-ner. All these things i've done stopped cause of the depression I got. Wanna rebuild my life soon. Now, I have really bad habit on spending for games and gadgets. However, some of these things i cant control now... :) Bless me a best time next year and restart all over again also, i hope I get a job soon.

Hey! I was inspired by the share a funfact whitelist recruitment thread and thought I would do my own! I do not have a lot of people on my whitelist, so I would like to expand it and once I have added a sufficient amount of people I will do a big giveaway (haven't decided what, but probably a highly wanted/expensive game)
Here is my only requirement, in the comments tell me something you are passionate about. I love to hear people talk about things they love so I thought that would be fun! If you want you can tell me why you are passionate about the thing, but you do not have to. It can be anything. I'll go first. I am very passionate about drag artists, as in drag queens, drag kings etc. I love drag, I think it's so fun and just watching drag performances makes me smile. I could talk about them all day.
Your turn! Everyone who tells me of a passion of theirs will be added to my WL, at least for a while until the thread gets too large.
