It's the new trade/market lock on purchased items probably. The cards dropped form the game and from buying other games should be marketable immediately but cards and items dropped from badges created with cards will be locked for sale or trade for 1 week after the purchase. Look on the cards in your inventory for something like:
"Tradable & Marketable After: 6/17/2015, 10:00:00 PM"

Any card bought via Community Market gets a 7-day lock for selling or trading. Additonally, if you use cards with this restriction to craft badges, the resulting card will be restricted.

That's true. But I don't think this reset was intentional. Take a look at the milestones, they are still set to day 1 of the sale. If the reset were the correct one it would say day 2.

I think when the discounts for the milestones come in about half an hour, they will announce the new milestones and the game will start again.

No, all of that gets reset. The only thing that carries over is upgrades from the badge you craft with cards.

Yea, if I had known it was going to be like this the 2nd time playing it, I would have set higher goals for myself. Now level 800 is just a few minutes away and only 6 hours into the game. There is still about 14 hours remaining. So either the first game was broken or this one is. I cannot imagine what day 3 is going to be like.

Or Gold Rain when only small minions remained.
Nukes on small dudes instead of the spawners or generall always attacking the small one first, so you advange in levels way slower because the sawpner will spawn like 10 small dudes all over again.
It's not THAT unresponsive that you totally miss all these things. People are just using shit whenever.

I think I'm in your game (just hit level 190). This isn't even fun anymore; everything dies before it gets a chance to attack. The most stressful part is trying to get over to the boss lane before it dies (<3 seconds usually) to get dat gold

Try and join a friend's game, it sometimes works. You'll need to find someone who's game isn't over level 10 or it won't let you anyway.
