Used to have it in the mornings sometimes. Awful feeling, but I'm even more haunted by not being able to put out full power doing physical feats in dreams. Ex. trying to run, but it's as if I'm underwater. Used to dream that about punching as well, but working out hard and learning a proper technique removed that. Guessing regular running would remove the underwater feeling completely.

//edit changed to "used to have" since now that I think about it. Haven't had anything like it for years.

I never had it. I'm really glad, heard terrible stuff about it.

I've had it once from what I can remember. Also the video called The science of lucid dreaming explains a bit for the people that don't really get it.

I have it sometimes, but I also have schizophrenia and the medication I take for that helps keep the paralysis away. Its really not a nice experience tho, and when I do get it, I find myself in constant state of fear for the rest of the day.

I've had it once after napping from staying awake for ages. Was one of the worst things I've ever experienced. It felt like I was dying and I was trapped inside my body. Not nice at all.

Same, usually, doesn't always work but almost every time. I just bite my hand/fingers as hard as I can in-dream.

I remember experiencing it 3 or 4 times, mostly when I was a kid. It's pretty frightening. I always felt like there was an evil presence in the room and I couldn't move or open my eyes.

I used to have it. I managed to get out of it by breathing fast and heavy.

Twice so far. First time I realized what it was and managed to keep my cool. I was lying on side, facing towards wall, and I heard voices talking in the next room, and voices turned to a fly buzzing and it turned to a dial-up modem sound x_x I couldn't move at all, but had no trouble breathing. I 'focused' and try to twitch/jerk as hard as I could. I bounced pretty high.

Second time I guess I was more on a 'sleeping side', so didn't realize what's going on. I was lying on my back, and 'dreaming' that gf in her sleep (also lying on back) put her arm over my chest and that she was unintentionally choking me, so I couldn't breathe nor move. I bit her finger as hard as I could, and then I woke up all panicked, heart wanting to jump out of my chest. Turned around, she was sleeping on her side. Woke her up and asked if her finger hurt x_x Took me a while to explain why the fuck did I wake her up and why the fuck would her finger hurt anyway.

When I was a kid it happened a lot, but strangely, I haven't had it happen in years.

Haven't had an occurrence in a year. But I would have some minor cases of it randomly, which mostly consisted of me "waking up" realizing I can't move and was just like, "well shit, guess I gotta wait it out till I can slowly roll over and get up."

The most extreme case I ever had was the night after I watched a Freddy Krueger marathon at my cousin's house. I fell asleep on my side, woke up, tried to move, couldn't, heard footsteps coming towards me, heard the grinding of Freddy's claws on like a metal pipe, and as soon as I "felt" him right behind me, I regained control and flung myself off my bed in a frenzy. Was pretty damn intense. Haven't had an occurrence of sleep paralysis since thank god.
