i'd settle with slow save and load.
would do before important meetings, exams and other shitty rl situations.
i'd also save before going to sleep, and profit from deeper and longer rest, while the rest of the world does nothing.

Always check dead bodies for loot, especially ammo that fits your weapon but not theirs, since their weapon doesn't exist anymore. And now that you've left the room, they don't exist anymore either.
If it's not nailed down, steal it -- it might be useful, and anyone witnessing the theft either won't report it, or won't care anymore as long as you first leave, and then come back.
Any shop will happily buy all your useless crap even if it's not something they normally sell.
Moving your mouth while speaking may be optional, but definitely keep waving your arms around vaguely.

I'll just go ahead and say stuff that other FPS-ed do that Painkiller does. There's just so much fun to be had in pinning an enemy to a wall by shooting it with a stake the size of a tree or shooting enemies so hard that their heads and limbs fly off in 5 different directions. XD

Is that a camera tripod or are you just happy to see me? :D

nobady says "zombies", they are so realistic!
or maybe almost every boss in almost every videogame.
or giants robots, destroing everithing in front of them, and nobody cares about the millons of people dying in there
or walk througt walls un every Ubisoft game
or, when you hide in the most obviusly place all the time and never get catch
bodies desapiaring after you kill them
infinite lifes,
maybe, why the enemies have low potentials at the begining of the game, and the same enemies are more dificult, or high potentials a few levels/ areas after
etc etc
apart from the ovbius ones, there are a lot of "non realistic diferences"
remember
nothing is true, everithing is permited.
sorry for my bad english

You just killed a 3 meter giant who was wearing metal armor .
-I wonder if...
-What luck I have, we have the same size.
Or when you kill an enemy that has a super duper rifle .50 cal, and when you look for your booty the only thing you find is four 9mm bullets.
But the one that bothers me most is the "plot armor", that make sometines some really shitty explains.

First thing that comes to mind is how much your character can physically carry in games with little to no effect on mobility/agility. Obviously there are some games that are mindful of this and try to take it into account when designing the game's systems but think about just how tedious most games would be if they were more realistic and you couldn't carry much.

Did you come across a rain of bullets and you're bleeding like there's no tomorrow? Just stay still in a corner and you'll be fine or there will be no tomorrow for you MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Or somehow, SOMEHOW you're the one guy that didn't get infected with the zombie flu and you manage to survive the many zombie attacks without any previous combat experience or camping in the woods. Also conveniently just so happens that there are more guns around than there are house furnitures.

Non-FPS/TPS edition...
You get to move. Now I get to move. Now you. My turn again.
Perfect military strategy involves mining a battlefield's resources in order to manufacture aircraft, tanks, nuclear warheads, and personnel from rocks and trees. (Sauron approves.)
I'm not sure that guy knows how to fly a plane. That's okay, we'll let him keep trying until he stops killing himself. Also, send him into combat immediately.
These statistical reports are 100% accurate and up to date.
Don't worry about how the ground and money are hovering in the air. And if you can't see anything below, you should assume you'll die if you fall. (That last part is probably true though.)
You need to find these seventeen objects in order to solve all the mysteries of the universe and they're found in a huge junk pile in your aunt's house.

Approaching someone, accidentally press X instead of A, accidentally knock them out/snap their neck/similar when you just wanted to talk.

Currently I'm playing Mark of the Ninja Remastered, and I still love how great its controls are - like you are able to change the direction of jump while in the air, multiple times and how fluid it feels compared to the old, rigid systems where you jumped, you jumped - then realizing you were standing too far but couldn't correct the jump's trajectory. Oh wait, but that is how physics work! And of course not many people can jump 2-3 times their height, or even more. Nor doublejump, obviously.
Also, changing magazines in guns doesn't magically keep the bullets in the discarded one - they are lost if just thrown away. But you know, that's how most of the games work - missing 4 bullets out of the clip, changing the clip entirely means you have a fully loaded gun and only 4 bullets are missing from your backpack.
What other logical inconsistencies are widespead and accepted, or even sought-after in your favourite games / genres? Be it navigation, movement, or numbers-based?
(I'm mostly curious about positive things, that we would be missing. Unlike things like survival games where you need to eat every few hours or you just die)
