I'd also like to recommend Session 9 but only if you dig psychological horror movies. It's creepy and has a slow build up which I tend to like. It's one of my favorites.

Total Horror buff here, I watch horror flicks to fall asleep... Checking my owned movies for a few goodies.

Ooh, "Mirrors" starring Kiefer Sutherland is actually not too bad.
"Hollow Man" is horror-ish.

Event Horizon, basically the the film that inspired Dead Space.

Hmm, trying to think of some I've not seen mentioned already... perhaps Pontypool, Jacobs ladder, R-Point, Pan's Labyrinth and 1408. Can't think of anything else atm that hasn't already been mentioned.

Scary Movie

Sorry, i didn't read what other suggested you and my suggestion is watching the woman in black - at night and alone, will scare s**t out of you :D Well, that's my experience :) And not only it;'s scare but i've been thinking about that movie a lot, it has some philosophical ideas there, so i liked it a lot. Next one that i would recommend is Exorcist: The Beginning .I somehow found it not only scary bus also psychological movie :)

I am a big fan of horror movies. Also horror movies with a funny edge. I could recommend you to see: tucker and dale vs evil, Evil Dead I,II and III, Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead, Funny Games, Dawn of the Dead. But my most all-times classic favorite return of the living dead.

And please please please dont watch The Human Centipede, it is the most disgusting movie ever (in a bad way).
