Pixel Game Maker MV, geared towards 2D action/platformers
Visual Novel Maker, IF Visual Novel Game Maker, and Visual Novel Engine for visual novels, although all of these have their own limitations.
SRPG Studio for sim/strategy RPGs, although much like RPG Maker is tuned towards Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest-styled RPGs, SRPG Studio is generally pretty close to Fire Emblem-like out-of-the-box.
GameMaker claims to have a "drag-and-drop no-code-required workflow for beginners", but I'm unsure what that actually entails as I've never used GM.
Ultimately having at least a basic understanding of coding or scripting will go a long ways towards any of these, as most of them will need external code or plugins to add or fine-tune features that their built-in editors don't really support. While it's certainly possible to build complete games without any extra code, it also severely limits what you can actually build into those games.

Thank you :)
That's right, I just want to try something out and see how far I can get with it and what is possible without any knowledge. I think it will definitely be fun if I find the right tool for me among the recommendations, then I can try out a few things.

This is in EA and it's quite expensive, but it looks pretty nice RPG Architect

"...The software is designed with a fun, beginner-friendly approach in mind as to not require any programming or modelling knowledge, ..."
It has demo version.
It was given away on Epic Games Store months ago in case you use that platform and you redeemed.

Nathalie Lawhead writes often about alternate game tools or just little artisanal-made tools for quickly making digital somethings, here's a couple of the recent ones: Solo-Devs and Risk-Takers (An Artistic Exploration of Experimental Tools), The Generous Space of Alternative Game Engines (A Curation)

Hello SG-Family
Since I like to tinker, I wanted to ask if you know of any tools/programs on Steam that can be used to develop games. Since I don't have any programming skills, I'm looking for ones that don't require them to create something.
So far I know the following: GameGuru, RPG Maker
I wanted to take a closer look at these: RPG Architect, RPG Developer Bakin
Are there any others that are better? I would appreciate any recommendations.
It can be general, but I would be especially interested in creating games like jump&run, anime, RPG.
