The celebration isn't over yet! The Dead Island 2 GA turned out to be region locked, unbeknownst to me, but I think I have the correct regions now after checking steamdb. Winner was from RU which couldn't activate (apologies again). This should be a ROW key. But don't quote me on that. I don't like being quoted.
