Has anyone tried any of the courses from that place, from this or previous similar Groupees bundles? I'm not a fan of video courses in general (much prefer to learn by reading than by watching), but if these are actually really good I might consider grabbing some that interest me.

Note that it seems the free ones are free on Udemy despite the fact that Groupees bundles are for academyhacker.com (the price does not change when you add the free ones to the bundle).
The John Bura courses seem to be popular in Udemy and I'll probably grab a few for this cheap, but so far I have never actually had the time in real life to get into game development (so eventually the courses become obsolete :| )

I don't know thoses courses, but for paid content on udemy, there are Ben Tristem complete courses. (you can all get them for $10 each during monthly udemy sales)
In my backlog, I still have his unreal one.. and blender one to do...
He is teaching unity3D as well.
I'll probably go for Godot kickstarted courses or unreal ones, in the future...

I'd definitely go with Unreal Engine (or Godot) if I had known reputaion of Unity among gamers due to asset flippers and shovelware makers. Most gamers don't know and care it's not about the engine but developers. They prefer to skip the game when they realize it's a Unity game.... Unreal is a little bit harder with C++ but that's what will keep those crap developers and their games from the engine away. Or you can to go with Unity Plus/Pro to hide Unity logo and hide the truth from everyone. :P

I got all these from a site I just found yesterday. https://udemycoupon.learnviral.com/
It has a lot of free courses and temporary coupons of which a lot are not related to programming, however the site is a bit messy.
There is a vote system where you can vote on if a coupon still works or not. But you can't "sort" the list by working coupons. So it is a bit time consuming to go through every page (mainly older posts) to see 2 working and 9 that don't work. It also has duplicate posts.
When you use the search function, it also displays paid courses so that is also a downside, but it tells you clearly its not free.
Long story short. It is a very good resource as you can see in my post ^^.(I found these in about an hour or so and only saw a small part of the list) But the site should be optimized for sorting and searching.

My 2 cents for people interested in this: AngularJS is deprecated, Angular (with no JS in the end) is currently in version 4 and v5 should be released soon. Since AngularJS works with JavaScript while Angular relies on TypeScript, there is no ascendant compatibility and I would not recommend to learn AngularJS if you don't have a good reason to. On a side note, I'm currently improving my skills with Angular 4, and it's incredibly powerful :)

In a few words, Angular is a framework to make full web applications on a single page. It generates script files that run on the user's browser and do most of the work a server script would do. Server has only to handle pure data requests, the angular app does all the rendering. Faster to code (when you master it), less load on the servers, and faster navigation for the user. For the record, it's made by Google for their own apps and released as a public framework. I'm still a beginner with it, but I really love it so far :)
