Well, I spent a lot of my time playing some RTS (Age of Mythology, Age of Empires, Battle for the Middle-Earth, Warcraft 2,3, Starcraft), some Turn-based (HOMM 3,Disciples, Total War Rome, Medieval II) and other ones I can't remember right now...
Age of Mythology was the most enjoyable game for me because I always liked fantasy creatures, it also had famous heroes with abilities to use and ofc Titans!

The first game I've ever played on my own PC was Imperium Galactica II... it still has a soft spot in my heart :)

I've been playing Alpha Centauri lately, that might be my favourite. :O But I picked Master of Orion.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri; I played the hell out that (including SMAX).
Though I probably have about the same amount of hours in Master of Orion 1 & 2.

i would like to join.
my favourite is Mount blade and i have been playing Vikings Dlc recently.i also like Age of myhtology,roma total war. i spend so much time on roma total war but it was at past and definitely not via steam. As 4x games i would choose Sid Meier’s Civilization

For some reason, I've always had troubles getting into non historical strategy games in general, not only 4X.
But I liked Endless Legend. And I have fond memories of playing Civ 2 Test of Time and getting into spaaaace, my memory is quite unreliable though.

It has been 5 months of strategy games already! Time does fly so fast when you're having fun! I can't believe I haven't created a GA for a 4X game yet 0.0
