Dirty Steam Sale practice

I checked the base price for Wargame European Escalation a few days ago and i remember it was ~24 euros.
In today's sale they raised the base price to 40 euros so that the sale (with 50% off) will be 20 euros.

I think it's pretty sad to see developers use such dirty tactics...
