Registered for steam trades for trades, registered here for free stuff?

I registered because i cant get games otherwise... (i can only get games from giveaways, and if i sell\trade trading cards >.<) my wishlist is huge.. xD

Free Gaemz.

A friend recommended me to this site way back in 2012. Short and simple.

I thought that for free games, but it seems that real reason was puzzles/quizzes on forum.

Had some bundled games I didn't want and didn't know what to do with, and a friend suggested giving them away here. Now it's just fun giving stuff away and helping other users. Puzzles keep me coming back; some are pretty creative!

It was also a good way to learn about different types of game I would not otherwise play initially.

I want more games, and I can't pay so much as the games cost (for all games I want). So try win some :) Other reason is that is stupid buy bundles just for 1 game (and rest not play) - so also try get it for free. And at the end, instead download and install pirated version of games - I am trying won them.

Because I wanted to get "Database connection failed"-Errors and make this website lag ,whenever I browse through the giveaways.

Heard about that Metro 2033 promotion, my curiosity to free games was tickled and hey presto, there was steamgifts. =)

Some achievement tracking website which I'm pretty sure doesn't exist anymore had a giveaway here, so I checked it out. Trough some massive coincidence (ok, maybe not really) the friend who had showed me the achievements website had a comment on the first page of the giveaway so I was all "hey, this site must be pretty good too then". Some forum stalking later I discovered puzzles and eventually decided to do one myself... and so on. :)

For free games. But, between the games I've bought to give away and the discovery of something called "bundles", I'm sure I've spent far more I would've saved. But my Steam library has exploded!

me and my friends were actually trying to get DOTA2 beta's so we entered all the giveaways on all the sites we could find - i had little concept about how the site actually worked back then - but i must say it has really grown on me

it is still the only giveaway site i uses (other than company GA's on facebook/twitter)
