That's phenomenal! One of the best RTS games. Not as good as the early C&C games, but still good! :D

The original Starcraft and its expansion was the first online multiplayer game I ever played, sunk hundreds of hours into it on my old 28K dialup modem (and occasional LAN game). Amazingly I never played through the single player, but it remain one of my favorite games ever on PC.

If anyone here hasn't played it, definitely give it a shot!

Did they add some way to play in high resolutions (yes, I like to have my units small and to see 3/4 of the map on a single screen) or is it still 640x480?

Great news. Originally got the game a few years after its release (but never played MP) and I started seriously playing SC2 a couple of week ago.
And people who own SC2 may be interested in the Mass Recall mod which ports the original campaign and Brood War into the SC2 engine.

Reminder that there is a widescreen mod with custom resolution support for this, however you could get yourself banned if you use it for online play. It's been tested on WinXP 32, with no guarantees it will work for you on a more modern OS, keep that in mind.

To me it hangs at loading screen (Windows 7 64bit).
