Me too, the first Ys game I played was VII and at the first boss battle I was totally hooked, too much hype, couldn't stop playing that game and now I'm fan to the series. And another great thing about Ys is that it is hard, way harder than Dark Souls if you play it in Nightmare, you should really be prepared to die.

Final Fantasy 7 is a classic with it's mix of rock and orchestral, The binding of isaacs soundtrack was pretty cool reminded me of some old gothy music. Bionic Commando theme song is amazing.

Turrican 2 by Chhris Hülsbeck, I have it here and listen to it once every third day. Final Fantasy 4-5 Music box also. I'm more into metal, but when it comes to gaming music, well, 8bit classics are unbeatable in any way. You just can't compare a classic Ghouls'n'Ghosts soundtrack vs a 2010 monster slashher soundtrack.
