I love music, it helps me get through the hard times and the good times. I do not like listening to modern music -- at all. Techno, EDM, pop, you name it. I hate it all. I can't bear none of it, in my opinion it's all just electronical noise, you could say the same thing about electric guitars and whatnot but at least that sounds good. I love rock, metal and classical music, the fact that I only exclusively like this kind of music doesn't mean I don't like listening to game soundtracks, they hit different. I like listening to the Doom soundtrack a lot while playing Doom and I also love the Dusk soundtrack, Terraria soundtrack is pretty good too and there are some others I like. I don't know how to explain this but a game soundtrack gives a game personality, which makes the game fun to play when it has some fitting music. That might actually be the entire reason why I started playing Undertale, I kind of loved how the game fit with the feel of the game. Space Invaders wouldn't be the same without the 8-bit music and Mario Kart Wii wouldn't be the same without the catchy music.

ANYWAY, enough about games. Here is my full list of recommendations from all my favorite bands, from softest to hardest, non-particular order and non-alphabetically, just whatever comes to mind I'll write down. Artist first, album second. Sometimes there are self-titled albums so just making this clear so there isn't any confusion.

This was more a list of albums I like to listen to, I probably didn't get them all since these came all off the top of my head. I will add more if I find new good ones or if I forgot one. I probably have undiagnosed OCD and I like my stuff nice and organized, so this is a nice way to keep track of all the good music I have in my life. If you have something I might like, send them here, I will listen. Happy listening.

There is no Industrial music option in the poll. So I am choosing I'm deaf (as in tone deaf).

I have Strapping Young Lad - City but that's all you get, also didn't make a category for it because why should I. Well maybe because when I find more good industrial metal albums I can add them there but, well, it is what it is.

Oh you meant industrial music. So if you just want to go to an industrial music concert you just kind of, go to work...At the construction site..?

haha, I think that would be industrial noise, I don't mind that actually, but it's not the thing I would put in my playlist

I don't think you would want to come home after work just to still be at work, telepathically.

From Vietnam. All songs are by Bức Tường, they are quite famous in 2000s: Đường đến ngày vinh quang, Tâm hồn của đá, Cơn mưa tháng 5.

Personally I'm into punk rock. My favorite band is a Korean one (I'm Korean) named Crying Nut, but I bet almost no one have heard of them. Among the bands SG users would know, my picks are as follows:
American Idiot - Green Day
Welcome to the Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

Not bad, definitely not something I expected from a sci-fi game, usually you get these kinds of soundtracks in demolition racing games and boomer shooters.

Yeah, it's a genre called "Space Western" - think Cowboy Bebop, maybe Outer Worlds, and various other bounty huntin' space exploration games and media.

Not a big space sci-fi guy myself but maybe I am a hypocrite for wanting Deep Rock Galactic, although bounty huntin' space exploration games sound like a perfect description for a standalone Star Wars The Mandalorian game, I don't watch Star Wars either but that would be a game my brother would buy in a heartbeat. The Mandalorian is a bounty hunter right? I watched the show but I had no clue what was really going on. I suppose something like RDR2 is just Western, that also has bounty hunting I think. I need to stop rambling now.

I'm actually not familiar with anything Star Wars - but from what I've seen, maybe SW stuff falls under the Space Western genre, or at least a sub-genre of it? I love to play the bounty hunter role in any space game where I can (Elite Dangerous, for example), and cruisin' and shootin' while listing to some pumping Blues Rock is just such a cool vibe.

That sounds like a lot of fun, despite me not liking a lot of Star Wars. Blues is just awesome, I like it. Soothing and catchy.

The first song is kind of cool, no idea what is going on with the last 2. Quirky indeed.
