On N64 and SNES, every Rareware game is a massive bomb (Conker's Bad Fur Day, Banjo & Kazooie, Donkey Kong Country, Diddy Kong Racing)
On the GBA, as above, Castlevania and Metroid are amazing. I would just add Wario Ware Inc, Hamtaro Ham Ham Heartbreak (no joke inside), Kuru Kuru Kururin.
On the NES, Final Fantasy, Megaman.
You can try to use Romstation, it's a free program with all the emulators of every console integrated inside. It has more than 5000 games (playable online with friends) and it's almost working as Steam (you can connect with it), the only difference it's a french community but open to everyone. clicky
If the page is still in french, the flags to change the language are at the bottom page.

BattleTanx, a franchise on the nintendo 64, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a virus kills off most of the women, causing war. You know, because whoever has the womenz has the population and power. The game does something special that I cannot put my finger on, but it really does feel like an apocalyptic world without having everything dead around you with radiation. There is gangs and stuff, crazy shit. The gameplay itself is addictive, for you're in a tank. You have a huge selection of weapons including nukes, which damages the entire map, and a huge selection of tanks. The largest tank, the goliath, can crush the smallest tank, which I forgot what it is called. Most of the buildings can be destroyed too. Lots of little details that makes me wish it still existed. I cannot imagine how awesome it would have been with today's tech. The sequel, Global Assault, is even better. If you do not care about story, then just buy this one.
If you can get used to the horrible controls, which I unfortunately cannot, Turok series is another gem on the n64. Particularly the first one, all the others are not so great unless you're a fan.
I'm sure you've heard of others, like the 007 games, Starfox 64, etc. So I will not bother you about them.

GBA has an excellent port of FFV (the best FF), along with FF1, 2, 4, 6, and a fairly decent FF Tactics game. It always bugged me that they didn't remake FF3 for it in the same style, and it got a completely different remake for the DS. It also has stuff like Ninja Cop/Ninja Five-O, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Advance Wars, Harvest Moon, two solid Metroids... Lots of RPGs, if you like them, and some of them are even good. The Super Robot Taisen Original Generation games are both good, but definitely a series, and rather hard. Summon Knight Swordcraft Story 1 & 2 came fairly late in the system's life, they're neat action RPGs with crafting. Boktai is what happens when Hideo Kojima makes a stealth game about hunting vampires with a solar-powered gun, and ends up having a light sensor built into the game cartridge. Wario Ware might seem old now, but Wario Ware Twisted is still worth a play.
The GBA is one of the top tier games systems, up there with the PS2, for sheer quantity of good games.

It got a lot of ports, but there are also some great originals. Lots of tactical rpgs. I will say that the Golden Sun games get held up as classic GBA rpgs but a lot of people think they're rubbish, and I have to agree.

Hmmm my first console was the N64, i played mostly arcade, but some times i was able to play with some friends.
mike's tyson punch out, vball, 10 yard fight, Excitebike, I think adventure island was on the nes, it was like a "port" from the sega of a game called Wonderboy Deluxe. Wonderboy is better though. Ring king. Double Dragon, frogger
For snes, hmmm, Sunset Riders. Bomberman.
for 64, starfox, some baseball games (not really a fan, but some were good). i dont know how the hell i beated C&C, my first and last rts in console (i beated the game way before on pc though).
Never owned a portable console, but i did play yugioh on a vboy emulator, and for the rest, i dont remember.
Ask me about arcades, i can help there lol.

Hmm, I'm really not sure I would recommend Revelations. And this coming from someone who can actually explain how the level cap for your main characters works in that game (Summary: don't max luck last), and who's played the joke of a multiplayer (Good luck finishing a battle within the turn limit) more than a few times.
There are so many better Shin Megami Tensei games out there that don't feel like weak Pokemon knockoffs. But at the same time, I did play it through more than once, and thoroughly enough to care about what the max level was. So yeah, I'm not sure.

But, and here's the key note: Most of them aren't in the consoles he listed. I would honestly recommend Revelations over Demikids, but really both of them are sub-par for SMT games. That said, they still ARE SMT games, so they're certainly good enough to be worth playing through at least once.

I'm looking at some old Nintendo games, and I'm curious of which I should look into playing.
Only rule is that I don't want any Mario, Zelda, or Kirby game to be named (Except for the Game Boys), because I've heard nearly all of them.
