HOG time?
Only missing Endless Fables and Agent Walker. Would love to get them but gonna pass on this one.
If anyone has those two games and doesn't want or need them, I'm right here! Just kidding, or am I? Bwahahaha.
No, I'm not asking or begging for someone to give me those games. Relax!

it's one of their earlier games... very early. So rather unpolished and all in all rather rough. The animation can also get rather creepy at times, mostly due to how inhuman and/or unnatural it looks. There's also one puzzle in it that's near impossible to solve that cause many to skip, and there's no set start, and it changes each time you restart, so there's no easy "check solution online" for it.
And oh, watch out for Time Mysteries 2 too... there's a bug in one of the puzzle where you can click on something before you even start on/unlock the puzzle, and if you do that, once you start the puzzle, it becomes unsolvable. And there's no reset/restart button for puzzles. It was reported and AM said their QA was gonna fix it, but it's never fixed till now, a year or more later, lol.

They're not bad per se, just rough on the edges and a not so pleasant experience. As talgaby mentioned, 1 and 2 are separate stories with 3 tying the 2 together in a grand finale, which is rather nice.
I'm just warning you in advance because you mentioned it's a newly found interest in HOGs, and I would rather have your first few HOGs be good and memorable (and make you wanna play more) rather than rough and unpleasant and traumatizing you from trying anymore HOGs in the future.
As a note, Endless Fables is a great game. It's their latest too, I think. Abyss and 9 Clues are both excellent too. I've yet to play 9 Clues 2 but I've only heard good things about it. In my opinion, AM's best might be Enigmatis 2, but it's unavailable in this bundle... but then again it's been bundled tons so you can find a key easy via trade if you want to.

I don't think I'll trade for more HOGs for now... I mean, I already have four of them in my library, still waiting to be played. ;) That said, I'll probably start with the first two Grim Legends. (not sure when I'll be playing them tho... I'm currently pretty much into Subnautica and I've just started Fallout New Vegas too)

Haha, backlogs, every gamer's bane. I still have 3 concurrent Neptunia games ongoing that I need to finish. That's the good thing about HOGs... one can finish one in like 4 hours and be done with it. Can't do that in RPGs and other type of games, lol.
Have fun gaming. I'm still pondering whether I wanna get this bundle for the one game I'm missing, or just skip it altogether. Currently, my resistance check is successful, but one can never tell when one will roll a 1 on a d20, haha.

Sure, if you do end up getting the bundle and don't intend to keep Agent Walker (yes, that's the one I'm missing :P), I'll be happy to take it. No worries about waiting, I myself am waiting till happy hour too to be honest, since that's when most people buy it and I can try looking for a copy to trade. ^^;;
If you do end up not getting the bundle, or decided you want to keep it, that's a-okay too. Thanks for the though! :)

It was the first game they published globally, and it was a bit dated even upon release. Since you are new to HOGs, you wouldn't be ready for the old-school HOG mechanics. Not to mention that while they spruced it up with cut-scenes and voice-acting, they just used simple tricks to animate the previously static images. They also tried to modernise the game mechanics, but it somehow made it a bit worse than the original release.
The second problem is that Time Mysteries 2 for some reason acts like as if it was in a totally different universe as the first one, and it is not a particularly good game either. And as a final WTF, the third one manages to somehow still explain how the first two games were actually related. It is a pretty good game and manages to wrap up the story surprisingly creatively, but you'd need the previous two games to understand it, and, well, it may be a bit of an ordeal.
Abyss, on the other hand, is one of their best games.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write all that. :) I'm not going to bother with the Time Mysteries series... and will definitely not add them to my dad's account. (it's a bit because of him that I'm getting this bundle, he seems interested in HOGs, already have 3 of them on his laptop and I was looking to see if I could get him some more)

These bundles cause me to no longer buy AM games individually anymore.
