I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.

Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.

Edit:

Here's a collage of all games I've beaten over the years on PC:

I have just finished Thief Gold. I really liked it, one of the best stealth game I ever played. It has a really cool atmosphere, it's a shame they cut the magical elements in the new one. The cathedral swarming with undeads is probably my favourite mission

Just beaten Bioshock Infinite two days ago. I really like how Elizabeth/Anna developers, and twisted Ending. Had to resort to Google to understand the ending. The gameplay is simple yet decent with some challenging areas/bosses here and there.

Trine 1 with 100% Achievements.
The story and the final boss aren't as good as in Trine 2, but it's nevertheless a good game.

Just finished Final Fantasy VII 100% for the first time after owning it for 17 years. I guess achievements really do make me do thing I would have no desire to do otherwise.

9.03m - Well, it's not even a game. It's a tribute to victims of tsunami that took place in Japan in 2011. It's worth checking out even though it's extremely short. 6/10

Mafia II, nice game, but the ending... could be better, I think.

Aliens: Colonial Marines - I don't get it why so many people criticize this title. Most bugs were fixed and now it's a pretty good game. I actually enjoyed it. It's far from "one of the best" but it's seriously not bad. I wish AI of enemies was better though. 7/10

Aliens: Colonial Marines - Stasis Interrupted DLC - It's even better than the original game. Developers put more work into this one for sure. I like that you actually control a few characters during this add-on and that levels are more differentiated than in the original. 7+/10

Mutant Mudds Deluxe - Very good platform game. I love the gameplay, the difficulty level is good and the "depth" of levels is awesome. The plot is almost non existant though and it's very hard to figure out what to do in order to finish the game (see outro and credits) without looking it up in Google. Also, in order to have smooth control over your character you have to play in windowed mode because full screen + v-sync sucks. Same as in Oozi. Anyway, I recommend this game to everyone. 8/10

Ballpoint Universe: Infinite - Reminds me of Sine Mora but there are also platform elements in Ballpoint and the style of graphics is totally different. Everything in this game's been drawn by pen. Anyway, it's pretty good. It has some bugs though and controlling the character in platform levels is terrible and very clumsy. 7/10

Serena - A free game that was released on Steam a few days ago. It's a story about a man and a woman and what happened between them. It's pretty good. It has nice atmosphere. It's very short though and there are no settings available at all. But it's free so you should check it out. 6+/10

Sugar Cube: Bittersweet Factory - Pretty good puzzle platform game. It's nothing really special but it's pleasant and nice. 6/10

Botanicula - The best game created by Amanita Design. I even liked it more than Machinarium. I wish there were more save game slots though and it could have been a little harder. But I recommend it to everyone nevetheless. 8/10

PS: I also collected all achievements in it.

Infected: The Twin Vaccine - Collector's Edition - One of the best hidden object games I've ever played. I wish it was longer and harder though. 8/10

I just beat X-COM: Enemy Unknown today. That's a great game, although it did get pretty repetitive by the end.

Shadows: Price For Our Sins - Bonus Edition - Very average hidden object game. It contains a lot of bugs, cutscenes look like they were created in the 90's, it lacks atmosphere and after a while it gets really boring. There are better games of this kind on the market. It's not really bad, it's just average. 5/10

Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition -7/10 It's a fun game, I'll probably replay it as the characters I unlocked in my first playthrough.

Cthulhu Saves the World -7/10 Another fun point and click. Some areas are confusing to navigate, which caused me to skip a bunch of treasure chests. I wish there were area maps to help me find my way to them.

Democracy 3. Was a great game for the 3 hours it took me to get the idea.

If you want to get reelected 100% of the time just go super liberal, socialist and technology heavy and your economy will fix itself, everyone gets really friendly and happy and healthy.

I'm still working on it, but at this point i'd stick a fork in it because, well...its done.

X-Men Destiny. It really wasn't that bad, but it needed a lot more polishing before being released.

Inversion- 5/10 Would have been 7/10 if it had a vsync option or if I could force vsync in the CCC. It caused me to have a headache when playing it because of the massive screen tearing. The story and gameplay were okay, but nothing special. It played kind of like Prey with a gravity gun.

It was annoying when your character would fall down, because it takes 5 seconds before you can stand again. Fortunately, there were only a few of those parts in the game. Aiming in zero gravity is also annoying, the camera often moves to an angle that blocks your view of an enemy that was clear just a second ago, despite aiming at the same spot. The game lasted 6 hours, or 5 if you exclude the parts I had to redo after dying.

I also finished Sleeping Dogs 2 days ago and it took me about 36 hours to get 100% of the achievements (including Zodiac Tournament, Nightmare in North Point and The Year of the Snake DLCs). Very nice game with a great story, I recommend it :)
