I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.

Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.

Edit:

Here's a collage of all games I've beaten over the years on PC:

Here's a collage of games in which I've got all achievements (100%):

Painkiller Hell & Damnation: City Critters DLC - To be honest I think it's the best DLC so far. Of course it still contains tons of bugs, there's no plot and this content should have been present in the original game but the DLC itself isn't bad. 5/10

Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project. I only had 6% health remaining after killing the final boss. I loved the heavy language used in the game.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Gears of War meets Darksiders is the best way to describe this game. Lots of shooting and slashing. I was actually quite surprised. Somehow I thought SM would be worse. Gameplay, even though pretty simple (shooting, slashing, opening doors and well, that's it) it's very pleasant and killing monsters gives great satisfaction. 8/10

Oozi: Earth Adventure - A very good platform game. I was expecting something worse to be honest. Gameplay is awesome, graphics are nice and music is good. It's very addictive. It's too easy though. Also, when playing in full screen controls feel very... well, not smooth. It's due to the v-sycn which is on and it's impossible to turn it off. Fortunately if you play in windowed mode then everything is smooth and gameplay experience is great. 8/10

Freedom Fall - It's a pretty good indie platform game. I wish it was harder and longer though. 7/10

Slender: The Arrival - The free game Slender: Eight Pages sucked. The Arrival is pretty good actually. The atmosphere is good, music isn't bad and it can actually scare you from time to time. Too bad that sometimes it's just frustrating and annoying. It could have been executed in a better way but still it's not a bad game. 6/10

Just platted Mafia 2, good story and game but somehow I think the whole open world was kind of a gimmick since you mostly used the same roads anyway, and it didn't offer so much to explore.

Singularity, great game. Visually reminds of Bioshock. Some elements remind me of HL2, The Suffering, maybe a bit FEAR.

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition (100% story mode on medium :-P). I was really suprised how good this game is. Also, it has a good replay value thanks to the unlockables and 'missions' in the tower. Not to mention that it is a real fun to play with a friend on one PC with two pads :-)

Dark Souls 5/10

Torchlight 2 9/10 I played it for 30 hours during the free weekend with the intention of beating it and not buying it. But, I enjoyed it so much, I bought it and played through it two more times and I will play it as the other characters at some point.

There are things I don't like about it, such as the controls. Often, when I am trying to run away from a boss, I wind up running into them instead. Also, much of the loot is garbage and there isn't enough storage space to collect the armor sets. But, there are mods to fix those problems. Also, after 75 hours, I still haven't got any legendary items:( But, there are also some mods to improve the drop rate for them. The most annoying problem I came across is respawning after dying in a boss fight, only to have the boss right at the teleport point waiting to one hit kill me, before I can attack or flee.

Jade Empire 7/10 It's a good game, but not as good as I remember the KOTOR games being.

Dark souls (just in time for the second :D).
I loved everything about it(except Lost Izalith, my eyes still hurt from that freaking level), it's a pretty challenging game (nothing impossible btw, some sega's games were a lot worse) but really entertaining and rewarding.

9.5/10, probably the best game I've ever played (alongside dragon crystal)

Finished Dishonored a couple of hours ago. Now on to 100%'ing it. :p

Quite a decent stealth game but not without it's problems. The AGDQ speedrun was what inspired me to play it. :)

XCom: Enemy Unknown... 6/10 i'd say, nice to see that tactics genre is not dead, but this one is simplified way too much, building/researching/buying stuff is nice, but nothing special as well.

MacGuffin's Curse - A very good puzzle/adventure game. It's long, fun and funny! It was developed by the same people who had created Jolly Rover. Strongly recommended. 8/10

PS: I also collected all achievements in it.

Crysis 3- 7/10 I still prefer the first game and Warhead, but this was an interesting addition to the series. Stealth killing is very fun. I didn't like the driving parts and the upgrade system seemed pointless, so I ignored it. At the very end, trying to load my save froze the game twice, before finally working. Because the game uses auto saves, I would have had to start over if it didn't load. It took me 9 hours, but I was taking my time, looking around.

Dead Island: Riptide 8/10 I spent 28 hours in this game, and it was as fun as the original. I still wish you could have a larger inventory. I was annoyed to find out you can fail a couple side quests if you don't finish them before a certain point in the game, and it was impossible to finish one side quest in the first playthrough, because you can't get the items before it is too late. I also think they should remove the enemies who throw weapons at you, one hit killing you before you can dodge or kill them.

Max Payne 3- Shooting people and blowing stuff up in slow motion is very satisfying, but the 9 hours I played were about 4-5 after taking out cutscenes and going over the same areas after dying. I see no replay value in this game, I'm glad it only cost me $5, but I still wasted 1 and a half months of my bandwidth downloading the game. It froze while loading twice, but no save data was lost. Also, social club is annoying extra drm, that took several attempts to make an account with, before it finally worked. 6/10
