You have to send it manually
If the other user complains (generally I believe they don't unless they're trying to screw you over), take screenshots just in case - try adding them as friend then trading it to them via Steam trading as proof, or take a screenshot if you have to send as gift

You do it yourself. It's about communication too. Also trade history always saves.

You need to send it and save some proof for yourself that you indeed sent it.

SteamGifts provides to you the email of the winner, as well as its Steam Profile, you can use them to contact the winners and give them the games. No problem, usually.

They give you an email, send the gift using that or add the winner and send it using the trade window

Hi there,
I need informations.
I have looked thru the FAQ but couldn't find the answer.
I have made my first giveaway yesterday (Orion Dino Horde game).
A guy won it.
So when I go to the Manage Giveaway option, I press the "I sent this gift" option.
Is the system sending the email automatically to the user or should I send it manually from Steam ?
If I send it manually on steam, the other user could complain that he never received the gift blablabla..
Can someone enlight me on that please ?
Thanks.
