Get it now. I love the game. It's pretty cheap, considering what the mod offers you! And you get to play ARMA 2, which is kinda cool also.

Well the standalone version probably wont be out ( the alpha version ) for atleast one year... so if you want to play DayZ a lot, buy AmrA 2. Also the game itself is awesome.

Well it is Alpha, but its still very playable and fun. 1+ million wouldn't be playing if it was as bad as you make it seem.
