Are you angry on humble bundle?
Surely there are good coffee tables and you could curate the good coffee tables that don't stub toes. It is just a matter of warning people about the retailers that don't provide free sample coffee tables.

But how will you spread awareness and promote discussion without the big letters?

If you were really angry you would have used different sized letters and bold and CAPS LOCK and stuff.

Who said I angry?
I am just trying to spread awareness of evil humble bundle

Cmon, you can't make the joke and not get the reference! We can't let the joke train die!
Carry on.

But Do they have better deals than the regular Humble Bundle?

Evil Humble Bundle is new IGN owned
they always make mistakes , have no quality, and no bundles.
which is why I don't give them any money and always do a 100% charity split.
I miss the days when they did good bundles.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, it was obviously a mistake. They absolutely didn't need to give a $5 coupon, which is a very decent amount. They could just revoke the keys and call it a day. In the end, they're not doing anything bad.

There is a fourth offense by humble. It happened only in our country where they got the prices wrong during a price transition. Some games were dirt cheap. I got an email that the keys would be revoked but we don't get no coupons.
What do you think about this behavior?
Ohhhh booiii. I'm angery right now. Fuming with a boiling rage.

If you look at the few threads abrix has done recently, you'll understand :)
Basically he complains, and gets angry, and then disagrees with you when you try and talk common sense and rationalise things.
He's had at least three just in the last month about the injustices he's suffered.
Summarising, the hater's gonna hate, and then because he keeps hating, everyone starts (rationally) hating him, which in turn fuels his hate more.
(or anger, to which he vehemently disputes that he's NOT angry)

Ah, come now peeps. They might not care but imagine if they are really hurting with each thread/comment that mocks them.
It was their own comments that brought this about but don't keep it alive too long - remember they are a person, so take care. Peace o/
Edit: and just in case it's misunderstood, I'm talking of abrix.

I keep hearing about this Abrix controversy but can someone explain to me why he was banned from steam gifts or what he has to do with revoking keys? I'm a bit out of the loop.

I'm assuming they refunded the money that OP spent on the game, PLUS gave that $5 coupon. Also, the OP obviously bought it for less than the full price. So no, nobody stole a game worth $45 ;)

They made an obvious mistake, people have the sense to know when something is too good to be true, but they decide to try and capitalize on it. They got refunded, and even given a gift as a result of the mistake, and they'll still complain even though they knew damn well it wasn't legit, hence all the price glitch threads created across the internet. Do I feel sympathy for them? Hell no... They should be happy they got anything out of it.

Though I agree with what you're saying in general, this wasn't an obvious mistake.
Read the thread about the glitch here on SG. This is a forum filled with people that constantly hunt deals and have gaming as a hobby... yet , there was still people debating whether this even was a glitch or not. If a group of people this versed in games and prices can't even tell unanimously if it's a normal discount, then was not "obvious".

I will say this - I, MYSELF, have also had no issues with HB. I'm not one to complain about them without having a good reason.
I also agree about the advertising going berserk, I had to change my email sub settings. But no, the IGN business as a whole hasn't changed my opinion of HB, all I was pointing out was the reason why others might feel hard done by, with the influx of the silly sales mistakes they've done.

Can't say I'm angry at them, no. And you even got a compensation in form of that $5 coupon, I think that's neat. Assuming they refunded the money you spent buying that game as well, that is :D

Say thanks about that the guy who play with prices works on Humble Bundle and not at taxs XD

just imagine this shit in real life. you buy something in a store to the displayed price then the guys break into your house and are all like "yeah actually we changed out mind so we take that back, here's a shitty coupon that you can use for a discount in our store, bye". internet makes scammer get away with bullshit so easily

its because Gaben is basically Pablo Escobar.
Both sell you addictive substances.
Both have an almost absolute monopoly on their market.
Both have too much money they dont care about losing some.
Actually , Pablo Escobar was better than Gaben. He donated to charities , helped the homeless , and was a nice person overall . And most importantly , he stayed true to his work and fans. Unlike Gaben who stopped making games and dont care about us anymore.

Who bought HumbleBundle? Was it IGN? Was it a merger or some stocks sold? I think we are now beginning to see the changes. And last 6-7 games that were free on Humble Bundle were (almost all) also free on the Steam Store for 24 hours. Things are heading in a bad direction...
Comment has been collapsed.
It was an honest comment - I skimmed through the topic description - was OP trolling? I see that https://www.humblebundle.com/store/call-of-cthulhu is back at full price, so I thought they did reverse the price or something. My bad if I was mistaken.

Okay, just to explain why I wasn't sure: yes, IGN bought it, but they (claimed) that they won't interfere with HB's business. TBH it's very likely that they wanted HB as publisher, not as a bundle site, they already had the IGN Prime, they could just push the monthly games into that, people just love to hate on whatever they can.It makes no sense making bundles worse while not giving an alternative, nor trying to profit on it.
About the games being free there and on Steam - sadly I can't quote nor find right now the document, but devs/publishers have to make a sale of similar discount that they've done on external sites, likely to fight the "free shit games with cards" tsunami we had in the past years. (I think the sale-stamples are exception for this, as it is a reward, not "no-cost")

Steam Key Rules and Guidelines
You should use keys to sell your game on other stores in a similar way to how you sell your game on Steam. It is important that you don't give Steam customers a worse deal.
It's OK to run a discount on different stores at different times as long as you plan to give a comparable offer to Steam customers within a reasonable amount of time.
Occasionally it may make sense to offer your game in a bundle or subscription, timed at the right point in a game's life cycle. Keep in mind that the perceived price in the bundle/subscription should be a price you are willing to run the game at a standalone price or discount on Steam. For example, 10 games in a bundle that costs $5 USD may have a perceived price of $.50 per game. Similarly, 10 games for $10 through a subscription this month may have a perceived price of $1 each.
Steam keys shouldn't be given away for free if you aren't also offering the same deal (i.e., give the game away for free) to Steam customers. If you want to run a giveaway on Steam, please reach out to us at Steampublish@valvesoftware.com
Steam keys shouldn't be sold in bulk. For example, you should not sell your game on sites that offer customers the option to purchase large numbers of copies of your game for a lower price. You should also not include your game in bundles on sites that allow customers to purchase multiple copies of the bundle for a lower price.
We reserve the right to deny requests for keys or revoke key requesting privileges for partners that are abusing them or disadvantaging Steam customers.
If we detect that you have requested an extreme number of keys and you aren't offering Steam customers a good value, we may deny your request.
We reserve the right to remove key requesting privileges from any partner whose sole business is selling Steam keys and not providing value or a fair deal to Steam customers.
Said rules/guidelines don't appear to have actually been enforced very often - it just seems to be a get out for when Steam has had enough of certain developers and their requests for keys...

Recently this is the third time that humble mistake so soon announced a discount game to be distributed and within like 60 minutes, they said that the week long sale is over.
And like 40 minutes ago, i received an email saying that the keys WILL BE TAKEN BACK and instead they are giving $5 coupon for games.
Isn't it a bit too much? Never seen before that the deal ends before time and keys are taken back.
What do you think about this behavior?
