For me:

The Cat in the Hat

It's just so good. Not in a 'so bad it's good' way, it's actually just so good. 10/10.

edit: in hindsight from a year later, this poll is slightly cringe.

Fido, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457572/, very well made, can't understand why people just dismiss it.

Although it has been said before:

Sucker Puch: it has very nice visuals and a beautiful substory and message. I think many may have missed the subtleties of this movie.
Click: another movie with a nice message and just enough Adam Sandler humor without ruining it by going over the top.
Triangle: I feel is underrated or perhaps a less know movie that's really good, though it does have decent ratings.

It's been a while since I've seen it but sure go ahead and ask.

Edit: or if you want a short summarization you'll have to wait for me to rewatch it first (probably on sunday) :)

It's classic with 91% on RT. You can't say that "everyone else hates it"

Well technically there isn't such movie. Yes it is a classic, but people may hate what they see from it.

Well, i did get some people looking at me funny when i watched it on a train. I think they hated it. But they seemed more judging when i switched it with caligula

I love that movie so much :)
But honestly, I really enjoy a lot of Cronenbergs movies.
Like for instance ExistenZ and Naked Lunch.
Crash be my favourite tho.

Pokémon: The First Movie - Such bad ratings but I genuinely love it still.
The Covenant - Not much to say, not sure why people think it's so awful.
Titanic - Not the biggest fan of romance honestly but I love everything else about it. It feels as if you were actually experiencing it and all the lives it affected (well as much as watching a film can be realistic). I can see how the million times Rose says Jack's name could be very irritating though.

Also the last time I watched The Cat in the Hat was in theatres when it was released, I can't believe it was 13 years ago that's crazy. I thought it was alright at the time, not great but not bad..but I was also 10.

Avatar and John Carter.

Avatar I think just got too popular for it's own good and it become cool/hip to dislike it, and John Carter was just unfairly reviewed... The film has no amazing storyline, and it can be a bit cheesy, but it works. It's an epic, Disney adventure. And I so wish a sequel is made...

I really enjoyed John Carter. It's not a masterpiece but it was a lot of sci-fi fun. I think the biggest problem was the marketing. The marketing was pretty horrible

Yeah, I've learnt marketing can really make or break a film. Ie: Deadpool and Dredd...

Movies I like:
Waterworld (1995)
Constantine (2005)
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)
National Treasure and its sequel (2004 & 2007)
Alone in the Dark (2005)

Movies I thought were ok and not deserving the amount of hate they get:
Matrix Reloaded & Matrix Revolutions (2003) - sure the first one was so much better than these two but they weren't unwatchable
Ghost Rider and its sequel (2007 & 2012)
Van Helsing (2004)
The Happening (2008)
North (1994)
Jurassic Park III (2001)
Fantastic Four and its sequel (2005 & 2007)
Godzilla (1998)
Spider-Man trilogy (2002, 2004 & 2007) - Maguire is better Spidey than the one everyone seems to favor
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (2012)

The Clooney version of Solaris.
V.I. Warshawski with Kathleen Turner. It kind of bombed, but I've read every book in the series and though they butchered the universe for the sake of a script (Boom Boom was actually Vic's cousin, and not some random lover), Turner's portrayal is so spot on that I still love it to this day. Also, it takes place in Chicago, and I miss home.

I loved From Hell. I didn't watch it in English (I heard that the accents were criticized quite harshly) and I wasn't overly familiar with the story of Jack the Ripper, so I could simply sit back and enjoy the movie's plot, I suppose.
