Really surprised that they don't make these a 1-use code. I appreciate the free game! Happy New Year's

I've pretty much collected all the Mystery Case Files I could ever want, so I'm looking to branch out to different genres. Does anyone have any Match-3 or Puzzle recommendations?
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm halfway there.
Match-3 suggestion: "7 Wonders" Series (Enjoyed 7 Wonders: Ancient Alien Makeover so much.)

Thanks for the free game codes!
Some games that can be found on STEAM and that I find worth considering to get from Bigfish site using free game codes:
EDIT1:
EDIT2:
Comment has been collapsed.
yeah, me too, I've used most of the codes on the games Bigfish considers "popular", and also on games from the Luxor series, not knowing that I can even get games from my STEAM wishlist (Beholder and The Inner World) :)
I will update the list if I find any.

Speaking of Sherlock Holmes games, Sherlock Holmes VS Arsene Lupin is also worthy of mention, just like Dracula Origin from the same developers. For more point&click adventure, non-HOG games, there are also the first two Chronicle of Mystery games (The Scorpio Ritual and Tree of Life) and the first three Art of Murder games (FBI Confidential, Hunt for the Puppeteer and Cards of Destiny). Both series have further sequels but strictly HOGs.
Also, some of the games I mentioned are available for more languages and are even voiced in different languages if you use the free codes on the other language versions of Big Fish website (for example, I grabbed Dracula Origin on the Italian site so that I could play it with Italian dub).

Likewise! I had no idea most of the games you listed were present on Big Fish, so I'm also looking forward to use my next codes there :) Thank you again!

Many thanks for the great list!
I'd like to add Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride to that list -- it's the best of the Artifex Mundi HOGs I've played. :)

tidhros, thanks for the finding!
I would like to add another one:
Epistory - Typing Chronicles

Just to be sure I understand how the site works: are they drm-free direct downloads, or are they steam keys?
Comment has been collapsed.
The are not DRM free, but the code gives you access to the game forever. They are not Steam keys, and it requires you to use the Big Fish Game Manager, a smaller, less featured client than Steam.

Other games worth considering:

do you know if 'kaptain brawe' on steam contains both of these episodes or it is only episode i?
Comment has been collapsed.
and yes, collector's editions give you 3 card punches. if you register for the free first month of their club membership then after 6 punches per month you get another free game, so collector's editions get you there faster.

To add to the list above of non-HOG, non-casual games, I just discovered the whole Aveyond series (minus the prequel Ahriman's Prophecy, which can be downloaded for free from the developers' website though) is present on Big Fish as well. Aveyond is a series of RPG games made with RPG Maker that, while not particularly impressive technically (the first games especially have a bare bones menu) are known for having an interesting story and different levels of difficulty to suit for different tastes.
Here are all games in order:
Aveyond 1 Rhen's Quest
Aveyond 2 Ean's Quest
Aveyond 3 Orbs of Magic includes four chapters:
Book 1: Aveyond Lord of Twilight
Book 2: Aveyond Gates of Night
Book 3: Aveyond The Lost Orb
Book 4: Aveyond The Darkthrop Prophecy
And finally Aveyond 4: Shadow of the Mist

you can also notice here if they have something from your steam wishlist.
e.g. i've found the
"drawn" series this way.

The "Chronicles of Mystery" series is also on Bigfish, some of them are not hogs but regular point and click games.

Had a lot of rage inducing interactions with BigFish after I ended up with a subscription I wasn't looking to get, took weeks to get that sorted out.
I feel like the free crap they give are not worth the potential BS that can come with em. I will never play any of those games anyway considering I have steam.
Comment has been collapsed.
Not trying to be rude or anything, but getting that subscription is mainly your fault and not theirs, you have to always uncheck the sub box, and not write any of your payment details, since you don't even need them to claim the free game coupons.
Comment has been collapsed.
You're entitled to that opinion. Although, you should want a subscription to be an opt in not an opt out, but that's your business.
I proved it was their fault, it's a very long story I won't go into here because it took weeks to sort out and would take several paragraphs to go over, as they kept trying to dodge the issue and didn't want to address it for weeks. But because it was theirs I got all my money back after a dispute, if it hadn't been I had no chance because PayPal won't side with me then, so that's the silver lining. Their business model includes this bs, it's one of the ways they make money. That is one of the reasons I do not want to support them by going to their website even for free stuff.

You can only use one code for one game, if you try to use the same code on another game after redeeming it, it'll give you the message of "Sorry, the code you entered has already been used."
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm still wondering, where do they get the codes?
But, thanks.
Comment has been collapsed.
From Big Fish, always if they buy a Game, they get Stamps. If you fill it in so 2 weeks or less, then get a Code for a Free Game. But need to be also in the Club, have a subscription, if I'm right. For normal Game get 1 Stamp and for collection edition 3 or so.
Comment has been collapsed.
I dont think this is it. Those codes look very different in format (xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx) to the ones shared here and can only be used once afaik. Also you have a full calendar month to fill the punch card, not 2 weeks.
Comment has been collapsed.
Small question: how to add them on my steam account as non-steam game (like some of us already did it with games from other stores/Clients, such as Epic Games, Amazon/Twitch Prime Gaming, Gog...)? Or isn't possible?
(P.S.: I'm not asking about redeem them @ steam, but if I need to do another steps to add them as non-steam game, because I tried to add here and none of them worked -nothing happens after click in them- )
Comment has been collapsed.
Pretty sure you have to run them through the bigfish client.
Only other way is either alter the game exe so it doesn't need the game client or install one of the programs that supposedly group all your game clients into one like Playnite - video game library manager ,it recently added more into it's compatible clients list.
There are others too but not sure if any of these would help you tbh.

I used a code to get Mystery Case Files: Fate's Carnival Collector's Edition for free but this game is completely unplayable due to extremely low fps. Every single thing imaginable is excruciatingly slow from cursor movement to scene changes, from cutscenes to any gameplay interactions etc. Discussion boards have a bunch of complaints about the issue though it seems to work fine for some people. The only "solution" that is offered is to disable special cursor and special effects. Doing this doesn't solve the problem for me. The game has lots of positive reviews, I don't know why it didn't work for me or a bunch of other people on discussion boards.
If you can help it, I suggest leaving this game for last. There is no reason to risk wasting your code while there are many other games that hopefully do work. Or if you do know a sure way to fix the aforementioned issue, I'd love to hear it.

Thank you so much to everyone that's posted these free codes. I've managed to collect all of my old favorites with these codes alone. Big
Fish releases were some of the first PC games I played outside of Sierra titles, on an ancient CRT monitor no less ha! From reading this thread it sounds like some people would be surprised to know that BFG has been around since 2002.
A few recommendations for those that aren't really HoG inclined.
The Island: Castaway If you like gathering items planting and cooking you might like this. Like most of BigFish's games this one is quite basic but fun and relaxing. Except for the boars...
Youda Games make two of my favorite time management games. Youda Surviour and Youda Sushi Chef. I was able to beat both of these games and their sequels. I find these to be a little less frantic than other time management like Diner Dash but still rewarding when you beat a level.
Likewise Farmers Market and Teddy Factory are different takes on the time management genre
Artist Colony It's a colony sim in the vein of Virtual Villagers or Farm Tribe. Charming characters and sound effects with a beautiful visual style. Buried in Time is very similar if you're looking for more.
My Life Story If you like leveling characters this one really scratches that numbers-go-up itch. It's dirt simple but cute imo and I whiled away many an hour on this game
There's a lot of farming games on BF with a lot of varying playstyles. My personal favorite is the Ranch Rush series, I prefer the second game over first but they're both great. Ranch Rush and Ranch Rush 2 - Sara's Island Experiment

Thank you, 5 more like this, I can complete Mystery Case Files.
