there is no known rule as i know.
but some ppl write in the giveaway description that ppl that own parts of the collection shall not enter.
its better to leave the collection for others if u own a part of it. thats at least my opinion.

It depends on the maker of the giveaway, but it depends on you too, for exemple, in your situation it would be better not to enter if you already have the base game (since that's the most expensive part of the pack, usually), but that's up to you.

The DLC for Magicka costs more than the game. The game is 10€ while the DLC costs 45€, 30€ for the collection. Personally I think it's okay to enter a giveaway for a collection/bundle, if there's a lot of DLC and you only own the base game. But only if the submitter doesn't have a problem with it.

Just curious what the general rule is on collection giveaways, when you already own part of it. There was a Magicka Collection giveaway that I wasn't sure whether I was comfortable entering because I already have the game, but wanted to try to get the DLCs from the collection. Is there an actual rule on this one? I know they're working on the bundle...and with the Magicka Collection, I was kind of worried because I already had the game, itself. What's the general rule of thumb on that? I didn't see it in the rules/faq thread, so I wasn't sure if it was a "Go for it!" or more of a "Do it and you're banned!" sort of thing. Anyone?
