Does Desura work anymore and if so. Is it good? Have never bothered to create an account and acivate my keys before. :) I think steam, uplay, gog, origin etc is enough :)

Nah, for the most part, it doesn't. It's not worth investing money on anymore, Steam, Origin, etc are all safer and better choices.
I actually haven't used it much since last year when they filed for bankruptcy, the site feels like it could go down at any time and never come back. Registering account would've been useless too, my friend tried registering there and she never seem to get her verification email. I'm guessing it's the same for everyone else..
So yeah I'd steer clear of it.
