I got it from the Indiegala - I used all of my galacredit (I had 1,55$ that converted to 1,44€ discount) and got the key for 0.55€ The key activated both games

Historical Low, at least in my region, for 0'87€ it is a steal, but don't expect a "long" game, just a simple thing made "decently" (it depends in your taste to label it as "decent"). I enjoyed it.

I had bought the original in 2015 and did not have the Remix show up in my library or under my licenses, even though it DID show up as owned on the store page.
So I went to the Remix's store page and clicked "play" which triggered the installation process and made the game appear in my library.
Still nothing under licenses though, but I hope this helps in case anyone has the same issue.

Its added to the existing steamDB package so nothing new will show up under licenses.
Sometimes steam is slow on autoupdate for these kind of cases. Usually fix with what you wrote, restart steam or add another F2P game etc to force steam to update.

They also have a semi-glitched soundtrack collection, it still shows the original game for me but I'm not sure if it's still buyable.

You should try to get a refund and buy it from HumbleBundle. I got a key there which activated both games.

If you own Savant - Ascent / SteamDB Package you will see Savant - Ascent REMIX in your library.
Not possible to buy now on steam store because they changed package on store. But if you have an old key you should also get the Remix version.
Edit: People have confirmed in comments that both Humble Bundle and Indiegala gives the old key.
