I can't remember what the last Manga was that I've read... I don't have enough time anymore u.u but I did love to get lost in the gorgeous pictures and the stories and usually, I prefered the Manga over the Anime (which might be the reason that I rather collected Artbooks than DVDs). And I'll always love CLAMP <3
A lesser known manga... I'm, sure there are some. I've read a crazy amount of scanlations when manga was still quite unpopular yes, I feel old now :p and some never got officially published in the west. Unfortunately, I can't remember the titles.

I wish I can afford artbooks, there are so many pretty ones! But they are ususally very expensive or hard to find here. CLAMP is great, they are one of my favourite authors. Though I prefer their old style, the new ones from Tsubasa is not as pretty.

the first one is annoying because I know the answer, but I need to write it in whichever way you wrote it...
thanks for the train
hmm a lesser known manga that stuck with me... I have one in mind, but it deals with very mature themes; abuse, child pregnancy and trauma. not suitable to be mentioned here since there's no age gate
so I'll mention a well known one instead that I've read more than once, I like to go back to it every now and then: Hikaru no Go

Thank you, I only recognised 4 of them without the help of good old google. :')
I like both images AND animation. Each has their own charm.
For example, illustrations... their details and colours, while animation is about flowiness, movement and storytelling.
I wish I could do better at them.

I have no prayer of answering these because I don't read manga. But hey, here's a bump for taking the time to put together a cool puzzle and doing GAs. :)

I'm ashamed to say I haven't read a lot of manga. Most that I read are because I really liked an anime and wanted to check out the source material. I believe the only manga I read without an anime tie-in was Kodomo no Jikan, which got my attention due to the controversy with a manga publisher that licensed it and intended to release it in the US, but later scrapped the idea because as the series went on it became more and more inappropriate. Later on when they released the anime I didn't bother watching it.
As for a lesser known manga, I really liked Hikaru no Go. It manages to turn something as mundane and slow-paced as a board game into a compelling narrative, enough to pull you in even if you have never played or heard of the Go board game before.

I read Kodomo no Jikan mostly because of curiosity, and I actually finished it though I skipped all of the uncomfortable part. I regret it a bit but I have read much worst. I wouldn't say Hikaru no Go is lesser known but it's indeed really good.

I still like reading comics and manga. You can read them at your own pace a lot more than media with audio. I've been reading manga for a long time but still haven't read 3 and 9. The others are all manga I enjoyed though.

This was fun, thank you! Was glad to see some old, nostalgic favourites like Questions 2 and 4 on there. The only one I'd never heard of was the answer to Question 8 (probably because I mostly read licensed manga), but given you've included a bunch of my other favourites I might have to check it out.
I like manga and anime both, for different reasons. There are some series that I think fare much better when adapted into an anime, like Made in Abyss, but of course we have access to a much wider variety of manga, and many weird little gems that would never officially be published here get translated. I love how incredibly odd manga can get.
As for lesser-known manga, everyone should be reading Vinland Saga (Norse epic, revenge quests, cool women, gore and hardcore pacifism) and A Bride's Story (cute cats, poly bisexuals, Ancient Central Asia, kisses).

No small talk this time, here's a puzzle for you: http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/iEGYVt9K
Guess the manga series names from the art and you will get a ticket to a minitrain. They are all mangas I have read and loved very much, some pretty recent and ongoing. Though some are pretty old so if not a lot of people can solve them I'll give some hints. I have loved manga since I was really young, I love it a lot more than anime. The beauty of still art just appeals to me a lot more than moving animations.
How about you, do you like still images or animation more? Do you have any lesser known manga you like?
