Is worth ?
Oh shit, I kinda want in on this. But I already got Hollow Knight AND Hitman from this monthly, anyone know if it can be skipped if i buy the 3 month sub right now?

definitely disappointed that Humble never reward their loyal customers, i got the email about $25 credit for signing up for a year, and was about to sign up when i noticed the fine print about not being eligible if you've had a similar offer before, so it turns out the $2 discount i got on my first humble 2 years previous precludes me from receiving the $25 so i didn't bother subscribing (emailed their support to check). Would have been interested in this deal as well but no doubt would have been ineligible for that too.

My annual sub is good till December, last time I was eligible for any special offer was May ($20 or $25 wallet funds afair) but I thought I'd wait and see what they have to offer later. But the more I wait, the more I'm convinced that I could have jumped on that one.

I have been looking out for deals and previously the $25 credit deal attracted me but I did not want to start with Overwatch, the games last month do not interest me much in the end too. The annual plan will cost around $188+ local dollars and it probably covers me for 2 yrs since I've skip estimated 6 months this year. I am also budgeting to get a new PC during the coming holiday sales or computer fair. 2 pairs of my running shoes also broke their base soles, 1 was a backup(did not wear it for awhile) therefore it broke with time. Now I have to get a new pair of running shoes, which a decent one cost around $100+. Also thinking of getting a sofa bed or a new single bed as my furniture had aged.
I will certainly get to the KC:D with 3 months if I was offered but I wasn't sadly, there was no such email. Instead on the 18th, local time I chanced upon a $20 credit deal, I did not receive any email and I was just checking when the month's billing date is. I also received an email of $8 credit if you refer a friend! "rolleyes"
Regards and Cheers, Cruse~

I got this email, and I also took the bait.
"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!" hehe :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Since you took the bait...is Kingdom Come actually mentioned in the checkout process? Because I got a 15$ store credit mail, but in the checkout it's nowhere to be seen as bonus after following the link...
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't actually remember. Got the offer in my email, used the so-called 'unique link' that was included and that is bound to my account - and I expect nothing but for Humble Bundle to deliver(ance). The clause was "use before this date and time", which I have fulfilled.
Comment has been collapsed.
Same used the link from the email, but didn't see KCD at all - but sounds like the game will be granted by email Tuesday so we have to wait then?

Wow, another targeted deal... Humble Monthly has all these deals now that you can never really tell if any of them are worth it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Humble will be honoring the deal for anyone who personally received the email, then later received the retraction email.
Comment has been collapsed.
Multi-month subscribers are getting nothing apparently, I can't claim any of their super deal. I could create another account and take deals on secondary account, and they know it. IGN ruining their own reputation. Way to go with buying charity off, then ruining it. No more annual subscription.
Comment has been collapsed.
You're getting the monthly games. That's what the subscription is for.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm not getting all that I signed up for. I signed for equal treatment of all monthly payers. Not something like you get 12 months of games + 25$ bonus for Store, but this guy doesn't, because he's been our customer for over two years. That's not equality and I don't support that.
If I pay money I expect to receive whatever all others are receiving. If you start to make new customers more valuable than long-term loyal members I say you can suck something.

in what space 132$/year is a very low price? Most people on this site have <100$ per month
https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/E3kD0/sg-how-high-is-your-monthly-income
If I didn't pay for year I will get all 12 bundles cheaper than 132$, cause almost every month they make promotions for people without subscriptions.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's a very low price considering that monthlies offer upward to 90% of discount on a selection of titles.
If you can't afford to spend it it's another story.
Comment has been collapsed.
u probably missed second part. I payed 132$ and got 20$ in humble store. In the end of the year I see that I made a mistake, cause if i buy bundles every month with all coupons and promotions i will get more for cheaper price. So now i will never again pay for full year.
Comment has been collapsed.
Promos, like Humble Store credit and a discount on new monthlies, are for new subscribers only or for people who received their emails. I still don't see the problem since you're already getting a discounted price because of the annual plan.
Comment has been collapsed.
But you're getting exactly what you signed up for. Everything else are promos to get new customers and not part of the deal you signed up for.
Comment has been collapsed.
Promos for new customers are already 10%-20% discount off the first month of Monthly Humble. This promotion is not for new customer. No new customer EVER buys the most expensive shizzle for the maximum duration of the time. These so called new customers are all old customers' new accounts, who already know what they're getting into, meanwhile steady and rule abiding customers, like myself, who use one and same account get zero promotions or max. these fake emails that later get rejected (I'm talking about that 15$ with 3months, that got rejected completely - I didn't get Kingdom Come: Deliverance promo).
Comment has been collapsed.
I thought you signed up for monthly game bundles. It's $12 for monthly subscribers, but it's $11/month for annual subscribers, you don't have any problem with that? You lose nothing, it's a promotion to attract new buyers.
Are you that kind of person who want a refund when a TV they bought goes on sale six months later?
Comment has been collapsed.
It's 11$/month for annual subscribers but it's 9$/month if you do get the bonus. When you go buy TV for 400$ and then some other dude gets exact same TV from exact same shop for 300$ in front of your face, would you be rather quiet about it?

might be steam version delivered directly to linked steam account (and I hope for it for all those multi multi accounters)
Comment has been collapsed.
and? many, if not most of the multi's are non regulary subs, just for the 'profitable' months...
Comment has been collapsed.
Don't quote me on this, but I assume it will probably be a steam key, since on the KCD website when choosing to buy and when you chose digital the only retail they display that is DRM-free is GOG. It shows Steam, Humble, Greenman, Gamestop, and Amazon. I believe all those besides GOG give steam keys.
But I guess we won't know for sure or how it works till tuesday when we get that email? since it said in the promo email that the game will be delivered to the email tuesday.

Definitely haven't got it, checked my humble folder, checked my junk mail, searched my inbox. nope:(
my mate that barely gets monthly got the email.
my mate that has only paused like 2 months in forever, didnt...
sadly mate who i asked couldnt use it casue it expired now:(

There is a lot of offers since the last horrible Monthly October....
Did many people unsuscribed after this Overwatch shit ? Maybe...
Did HB understand this lesson ? Hope so...
Are we going to have shitty non-steam bundle ? Most probably...

I think this latest marketing strategy from Humble is ruining their business, and whoever came up with it should be fired. Instead of offering something nice to their subscribers so that other people might want to become one of them, they are offering special "bribes" to non-subscribers. This makes current subscribers feel "left out" and is pissing off the people who already support you.
What a dumb move.
Comment has been collapsed.
Absolutely! I'm a Monthly subscriber since day one and I'm not currently planning to quit it, but all these "incentives" to new subscribers while we get nothing is slightly pissing me off...
It's a practice that I see in more and more sectors, most notably by mobile operators (at least here in Italy) but I really don't get the point, you maybe get more customers on the short run but customer retention (and surely satisfaction) inevitably suffers. Or maybe it's just me that don't understand anything about marketing, but if so... fuck marketing :))

I thought old users regularly received what they signed up for? I'm missing something?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yea I've been only doing monthly for over a year (maybe 2) skipping here and there, I am currently out cause I cancelled last month, but although I am tempted to get this months, apparently they don't want me to.
Fine by me. Extra money in my pocket.
Comment has been collapsed.
I decided to buy it myself since heard good things about this game and I kind of wanted 7Days2Die from the unlock of this month so figured I get it, and the last few unlocks I didn't mind that much.
Comment has been collapsed.
I really want KC:D, and got the email as well (not on my main account though), but can't buy it. Since I had to replace my old expired card with a new one, HB doesn't seem to want my money anymore, and I can't buy the monthly (even though I've used the same account tied with this new card to buy monthlies basically since they were introduced...).
Comment has been collapsed.
I'd probably do it but didn't get the email. I agree with what others are saying - they should have given this as a bonus to long-term subscribers instead, so people would think 'I should subscribe, I might get random extra free goodies!' rather than offering it as an incentive only for new subscribers. Giving it only to people who are new/non-subscribers feels kind of mean to me.
Comment has been collapsed.
I couldn't resist...hope I actually play it instead of imprisoning it in my backlog, along with all of the other good games from Humble Monthly :D
probably not

Not really fair for people who are constantly subbed, plus I have the game on my wishlist.
But the job is done, making people who are not subbed to sub to it so the profits are coming in.
Comment has been collapsed.
They need to give incentives for new subscribers. I agree that it should have been more varied. I use a gift sub for myself and apparently the email went out while mine was expired, but I still didn't get it.
Which is why I say it is what it is.

That's a bit what I fear.
now that they used that big bait to catch 3-monthers, We yearly-sucribers are screwd, no way it's gonna be in a monthly in next 3 months and even chance that's it is in a monthly ever is near 0 now.
And If they used now their best game in stock as bonus for new subscription; the subscribers are screwd.
Even if I don't renew my subscription; chance I'm now in the wrong basket to get those big bonuses. As I'll be in the "oh just give him a low offer for a yearly subscription that'll be good enough for him"
the new HB-IGN marketing sucks for the loyal subscribers -_-'
also poked the support about my concern and got the same kind of answer as heilurmes.

Yeah, but if you think of it you are basically getting it how much it was when it went on sale, since I think lowest KCD went on sale was 35.99 which is what you are basically paying plus you get three months worth of games.
But I guess we won't really know how it will be worth it until we see to the future what games we get, I just hope we don't have any more of those non-steam, battle.net games. But I think we shouldn't have to worry too much about that, well unless they give us like the latest COD (not BlOps IV, maybe ww2?) since we already gotten D2, Overwatch.
Kind of offtopic, but this is the first time I bought more than one month and I am wondering how this pausing thing works. I know I will be re-billed at the end of january (when my three months are up) but if I say pause next month if I don't like the offerings, will that bump my bill date later since I would skip a month?
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeap. You won't lose the 3 months. So pause a month goes the billing to February.
