Looking for something new to watch (lvl 2+ train)

I recently finished watching Game of Thrones with my wife. I’ve watched it before but once my wife gets over the shock / disappointment from season 8, we’ll need a new series to watch in the evenings.

I’ll watch pretty much anything but my wife is not big into fantasy / magic stuff. She just about managed with the dragons and white walkers in GOT because she was so engaged with the story. Anyone have any recommendations? We have Netflix and HBO. No spoilers please.

Bump!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend anything except for well-known sitcoms like "Friends", "Everybody Hates Chris", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "The Big Bang Theory". I'm not into watching TV shows.

Last one I watched and really loved was The Haunting of Hill House .. Loved the story and atmosphere it provides. And actors are great as well. Watched two times..

Ive been watching Blacklist as well. Love Spaders work on Reddingtons character.. Story is twisty and excitin. Better to watch this trailer instead the one thats on imdb

One of my all time favorite series is Burn Notice. Neat humor and really interesting characters.

I mean there is definitely The Office but that has been most likely already suggested 69 thats what she said times. But maybe you missed Parks and Rec which definitely has the same level of humor and romance in it.. Chris Pratt and Aubrey Plaza give it a nice flavor..

Some great suggestions there, thank you! And thanks for the short summaries. I think most of them will go on my personal list, but can definitely see my wife enjoying the Office and Parks and Rec.

Harrow, I just started watching and so far really good if you like the type.
Other ones on hold are The Good Doctor,The Blacklist,Jack Ryan,The Rookie and SWAT.
Those are the ones I´m currently watching

Preacher its pretty nice..
Future man funny comedy also nice..
Legends of tomorrow finished it few days ago pretty nice as well :)

Watch anime! Don't tell me you are not into it. its like saying you are not into series/movies/Animation. There are thousands of different Genres of Anime for anyone.

Depends on what type of Anime you would like but i can list you my favorite Animes and the general most loved ones.

  • Series:
    1. Death Note: This is a classic. The Starter Anime which is loved by 99% of people.
    2. Attack on Titan: Fantastic fight sequences and a mysterious story that will keep you on your toes.
    3. Tokyo Ghoul: interesting and cool story about a person who goes through a lot of bloody things.
    4. Re:Zero: Crazy story about a person who goes into another world. Bloody and emotional
    5. Another: Horror mystery
    6. Kimetsu No Yaiba: About a young man who fights demons with crazy animation quality and good story
    7. Erased: Mysterious and emotional
    8. Shokugeki No Soma: About food and cooking. could be a bit wtf for some people because of all the over the top "orgasms" while eating food lol
    9. One Punch Man: fantastic fights with a fantastic main character who struggles with a different kind of problem.
    10. Angel Beats: Just watch it! :D
  • Movies
    1. Kimi No Na wa: This is a fantastic Anime Movie full of emotions and fantastic characters and storytelling.
    2. Koe no Katachi: If you watch this anime be prepared for crying.
    3. Ghibli movies of course! for example Spirited away.

Think thats enough for starters. You can also go on https://myanimelist.net/anime.php and search for genres of your liking. And dont judge anime by a single anime alone. You probably watched anime as a kid. For example Dragon Ball, One Piece, Yu Gi OH, Beyblade, Digimon etc.
