Yeah it's probably a script or add-on, try disabling them one by one and see if anything changes.
If you use an userstyle, it might even be a feature rather than a bug as talgaby said, the one I use has an option to do that

Yea. a Userscript called "Steamgifts Helper" was the culprit. I add a bunch of them that everyone makes for this site to improve the functionality, I have like a dozen scripts active, but showing me spoilers automatically isn't something I really consider a benefit. TBH, I am not even sure what that one is supposed to do (other than reveal spoiler text)

Instead of being obscured by a black bar that disappears from when you hover over it, now spoiler tagged items are just highlighted in gray and visible.
Is this caused by one of the SG user scripts?
