Steam is going to be worse and worse...

So it's free weekend with Dead by daylight. I was curious how good/bad it is. I was having 3,6 gb (100mb left) but it was very late so i just off steam and go to bed .
Next day I'm turning on steam, happy to finish downloading (downloaded with 117kb/s - 3,6gb) and then i saw this bug on steam.
It was 0 bytes and i was like "AGAIN?!". Deus ex human revolution and payday 2 cause me the same bug.

P.S. My internet is the weirdest thing in my house. One day ago 117 kb/s downloading, next day 4 mb/s.

Other bug:
I change language of reviews like 2 weeks ago and still steam is showing me my language.

And another:
When I'm in my inventory looking at price of some item it can just disappear! Poof, gone.
Even reload don't work for this.

They are the most annoying things on steam for me so write yours annoying bugs here. Let the rage come out from you!

I like steam to, it's simple, pretty fast but for what they are doing those "actualization" if they are making more bugs than doing some progress.

The 0 byte thing is supposed to be about the files being written on your disk.

I guess you didn't understand. Maybe because my English it's no so good but my problem is:
I downloaded 3,6gb of dead by daylight. I off the steam and on the next day i was happy to finish downlading but when I check how much left i need to download it was 3,7 gb. I needed to start it all over again

Seriously if you can reach 4mb/s and the other day crap speeds try to fix it or some relative is downloading way too much porn.

I can reach 4mb/s mostly in the morning and night but now it's hard even for 1mb/s. Don't realy know what's wrong and porn is not the issue :D

If it's wifi it could be your signal and there are ways to better it, could be your provider (you could call them, if you get 120kb/s and you pay for 4mb/s or even more it's unacceptable).

Even reload don't work for this.

This is because you hit ratelimit for market. Steam blocks for some time you if you do too many requests. It's really easy to happen if check item prices even if you do it slowly.

Maybe because 2-4 years ago they didn't have this limit? There are currently over 11 million users logged into Steam right now. That's a lot of requests hammering their servers. If you know how to make it work better then you should just offer Valve your IT services and money to buy more servers. Or just deal with it like everyone else does. Windows has way more glitches than what you are talking about yet I'm going to guess that your computer runs on it anyway. How far have you got with MS when complaining about them?

My system is fine, i don't complaining about him. I see your point anyway.
They realise how big they are but still them client is worse and worse by day. Why is that? They got everything to make it better.
Steam is better than Origin, Uplay that's for sure but for how long? Origin is making progress, Uplay I don't know cause i don't use it.
Maybe that's the point, steam didn't show to me any progress for very long time or I'm just too blindful and lazy to see it.

the few times I've contacted steam they've solved the issue in a somewhat timely manner 2 or 3 days, and normally to my complete satisfaction.. Both times were with trying to make purchases where they took the money but never supplied the games.. Both times it was during sale time and both time the sales ended..

Both times when they finally responded I had all the games I purchased inserted into my account.

Shame that sometimes people contact support and don't get any real help... that is rather unfortunate..

actually at the time I had purchased about 50 - 55 items, and after they took the money I got nothing, guess it was a communications error between steam and paypal..

2: IDC bout reviews .. is mostly stupid trolls .

3:Thats common bug when you switch trough items to fast , its a client issue , as it does Not happen if you do that Online .

Long story short you are grumpy for minor issues that dont really affect you in any way ...
Steam being the top platform for videogames for literaly a decde now , some minor issues like that are just neglectable ...

Only bug I get is I can't see other peoples inventories, ever (logged in/logged out, client/broweser/different browser, friends/strangers - only works when the trade window is open). And the language thing you have, switched it to English months ago, still only get German.

Oh, and sometimes game time is counted after closing the game, but that happens to a lot of people.

My steam is unable do download actualization on his own xD They are always waiting - I have to click play game to make downloading starts. Also steam loves to send me spam..

Oooh - we have noticed that you have seen that thread where somebody posted 100 keys.. and you tried 9 of them before you get working key... Let us send you email for each of those failed activations xD

I love chats that crash without any notification, or times when client can't load store pages, while it works from browser. And I thank God for Jim Sterling. not having to deal with steam support maybe rather Jim. Yes.

in germany Steam/Valve has a realy bad rating... several magazines made tests and they failed hard...^^
