Due to "leaked links" I'll not add the 50 extra games I spoke of, since some people ruin the fun... Will add MGSV and fault as the last 2 later tonight, because they had to be remade for "reasons".
These will be whitelist only instead and only people I've seen searching will stay on my whitelist.
If some find this unfair, then blame it on the people who leak the invite links.

So sadly, future events will not be treasure hunts... But more likely whitelist only or invite where I make sure only people who get the link from me (for whatever the event is about at the time) joins... So I can see if people who haven't deserved the link have entered.

I'm sorry, Melly. I've seen this happen once before (although it's probably happened numerous times with hidden giveaways), and it always pisses me off how someone finds a way to ruin the fun. With the number of invite-only giveaways on your profile, you obviously put a LOT of work into this, too. Again, I'm sorry that there are some unscrupulous users on this site. :(

I can't see what users leak the links but I can see screenshots from some SG users on the site... Can't be sure if they leaked them.
And not an expert on the language on the site, but my friend google translate could at least tell me that they wont enter before the last minute so they wont make me "suspecious" of it...
But I'll monitor the site, and if it continues then all non-bundled games will be deleted and will be made into a whitelist event of some sort instead, or an event where people do stuff and get a random link as a reward kind of thing...

Well if its leaked out then there will be no other way other than to stop the event as your giveaways will be flooded very soon with those people and more will come to know and will go on increasing. The best would be to put up a group of the people who really found it and make the giveaways again.
I know such happens so I moved on to groups and whitelist.

You will loose giveaways slots. So just ask CG for some more tell him what happened and I am sure he will help you out. Make a group add your friends and people who you think really found the stuff and give it. Its better to give a friend than a random stranger specially a leaked one.

Sorry to say the way you posted the links its not bot proof. Any bot can be programmed to search all and find links. So even if you hide will be found as 3 days is the time. I am happy that I got to see a lot of anime due to you! But you should play the game more rather than screenshot!!

Leaks are an increasing problem both for hidden stuff and puzzle GAs :-\ I wouldn't blame you if you go berserk and nuke the whole thing - must be really infuriating to see something you worked hard on being desecrated like that. It's your call, of course. You can always ask support for your slots back.
IIRC Archi has made a good countermeasure for his last event, was rather complicated though involving external sites and whatnot...

I have no idea what the site is, but y'know... some sites and pages has associations with Steam profiles.
Especially if it's a forum and people have usernames - most people are lazy and don't change them from site to site.

People dont change usernames most of the time but unless you know for certain you cant suspend someone. Those type of sites are sneaky only people who know about them can find them. The person who gave her the information is one of those guys who visits such sites.
