The only good thing that sounds interesting is that it was filmed in a way which makes you think that the whole movie was done in one shot. But that's the technical side of it. In my opinion it was poorly written and felt very pretentious. Like the movie pretended to be smart and original. But if you are wiiling to spare 2 hours you can judge for yourself.

Fifty Shades of Grey... I will not go into details as to how I ended up being forced to watch it, the metacritic and imdb scores( around 4/10) are in my opinion way too high considering how ridiculously bad this movie was. It was so bad that I spent the rest of the evening contemplating how bad it was, there was literally no good part about it, nothing. And no, I have not read any of the books, and I had VERY low expectations, it still ended up being worse than I expected... Stay away from this piece of **** at all costs.

From what I hear it is not even a good adaptation. Everything single part of teh original story was apparently trampled on and what was produced is in many ways the complete opposite of the original story. Never read or watched either, but have read a few analysises of both.

Well, I haven't read any of the books, but I watched an Elders React video on youtube and it had a part where they were given some passages from the book, sooo bad...

local production, you wouldn't hear about it.
but seriously how can someone make such a bad movie is beyond my understanding.

I don't think that the question is defined well enough. The worst movies I've seen were mostly Indie movies that were really just hard to watch because of bad actors, montage, soundtrack, etc. But writing a list of those movies would be pointless. Not to mention a lot of people in this thread seem to be stating movies that were actually great or at least average, but had something in them that they disliked (In my opinion that would be Avangers - movie that I found to be really predictive and overhyped). But if you are really looking for the worst Hollywood movies recently made you should just check IMDB for ratings under 5 or 4 (Left Behind, Fifty Shades of Gray, Vice, etc.)

Indeed. While IMDB ratings can give me an idea of the overall quality of a movie, I may like a movie rated 4 and I may dislike a movie rated 8. Any list of worst 100 or top 100 movies would be just subjective, depending on who wrote it.
Ultimately that "Top 100 Worst Movies" list should be called "Top 100 Worst Movies by steamgifts.com users", and it would still be inaccurate.

I completely disagree. Just because someone can have a different opinion does not mean that they are not wrong. Batman 3 is simply a bad film regardless of if someone gave it a 10/10 or if 10,000 people gave it a 10/10. It is still objectively a bad film. Some things are subjective, some people really like B-movies for their crappyness. meanwhile some B-Movies are just great movies. But not everything is subjective. Twilight is not as good as Shakespeare just because 100,000 people would rate it 10/10; they are simply wrong.

Yes, I may have not expressed myself very well, but that was also my point. People (here or on IMDB) express their opinion with a vote, which is totally arbitrary and doesn't reflect the true value of a movie (or any piece of art). That's why any list (of bad or good movies, which are absolute concepts) based on opinions (relative concepts) would be inaccurate.

I'm not sure if this counts (it's only 13 minutes long), but The House That Drips Blood on Alex was quite the colossal, steaming pile of bubbling, maggot-infested shit.

I watched about 15 minutes of some BloodRayne sequel.
One: I didn't know they made any BloodRayne sequels, although I suppose they'll make a sequel to pretty much any decent or awful horror movie.
B.: BloodRayne is already one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Thirdly: The 15 minutes of the sequel was somehow even worse than the original. At least the original had the smoking hot Kristanna Loken with red hair.

The Hobbit 3. Only movie I ever just gave up on in discuss half way thorough. Will give it a go when the special edition is released, as they have been far better for the first two issues, but there is too much wrong with it to ever be a good movie.

Transformers: Age of Extinction a massive bore that made me want to commit after.

Star Wars Holiday Special. It's a special kind of horrible, the kind where you can't even laugh at how bad it is. It has one of the most annoying characters ever found in a movie, Lumpy, who when introduced is trying to make X-wing noises. Also, Chewbacca's father is named Itchy and looks like the hairy monster from Big Trouble in Little China. It's disjointed, messy, looks terrible, has a terrible story, the jokes are so bad that Disaster Movie seem good in comparison (Disaster Movie is by the way terrible).
War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave is also terrible beyond belief. My love for War of the Worlds (the book, the 1953 movie, the first season of the TV series and heck, I even liked the musical when i was a kid) made me watch it, even thought I knew that it probably would be bad. I was not prepared for how bad it would turn out to be though.

I think the Hitman movie was a piece of shit too. In the game Agent 47 is a Silent Assassin. In the movie, Agent 47 is a badass, who blows the whole building with a fuckin' C4. :D

Spongebob can't get out of water anyways, 'cos he can't breath outside the water... It's in the animated series too... So it's fucked up. :D

I watched this film called "Drive Hard" recently, by far one of the worst films I've ever seen. I'm not sure if it was serious or not though although it did have John Cusack in it, but not like that means anything. Vehicle 19 was also quite bad, probably not worthy of a worst 100 place though.
