No need to add me - just stopping by to say HAPPY CAKE DAY! :-)
As to books, get a library card, cruise the aisles, pick random authors, take home something that looks good - it really is the only way to discover stuff no one would necessarily recommend. Plus it's kind of old school fun :-p

I live in a country were "libraries" doesnt exist, there isnt even a public library in the state i live, only books you can find are Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones or textbooks about diferent careers in "toyshops" or shop that specialize in random products D:

I have the same taste for books, but last year I decide to try The Sharpe Series by Bernard Cornwell, it's a war history book for Napoleon wars and I like it very much, so I continue with The Warlord Chronicles with is in a little bit fictional tale for King Arthur, then with The Starbuck Chronicles... and it seems that I read only Bernard Cornwell's books for more the year :)
I can recomend all of them:

I don't know if you have ever read Brent Weeks, but all his work is amazing! Also read the Mistborn trilogy.

I just finished Anne McCaffrey's "The Freedom Series". It's Sci-Fi but it does have a fair amount of erotic sex scenes.
If you want something more modern and relevant, Liu Cixin's "Three Body" trilogy is the best right now. It's scifi with politics. It was originally written in Chinese but the English translation is excellent. It's won a lot of awards and a movie is being made about these books. First movie should be out next year.

Fact: You have a ton of book recommendations now.
I enjoy sci-fi & fantasy novels, having read my fair share. But in the interest of being more well-rounded, I'll recommend something different: Victor Hugo and Alexandre Dumas (no, I'm not French). I'd recommend Hugo's Les Miserables, and Dumas' d'Artagnan series. I've read a lot of Western classics, and those are my top picks. That should only add a few thousand more pages to your list.
Happy cake day!

I've been on a zombie kick. I really enjoyed the Zombie Fallout series by Mark Tufu Zombie Fallout The blurb for the book doesn't do it justice. It's super funny with non stop action. (You won't find 2 to 3 pages describing a chair or window. Something is always happening in this story.)
Unfortunately, I've been finding that many of the books I want to read, such as the Zombie Fallout series... (usually books by independent authors) are not at my library. But the first Zombie Fallout book is free on Kindle. Hoopla (free ebook / library portal) also has the first four in the Zombie Fallout series.
The series starting with Xombies by Walter Greatshell is also pretty good.
Goodreads is my favorite place to find my next book. I'm on there almost as much as I'm on Steamgifts.
(I think Zombie Fallout is definitely the better of these 2)

Happy cake day!
Well, the best series of books I can recommend are the Darth Bane books by Drew Karpyshyn. He's the guy who worked at Bioware and worked on Neverwinter nights, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, and all those other games that makes Bioware awesome.
Anyways, the Darth Bane books are a series of books set in the Star Wars universe in the Old Republic. Highly recommended. 10/10. Amazing.
