I have 414 games filtered out somehow. I think at one point I filtered out every game I owned (before changing the setting to only GA's I can enter), but now I just filter out the DLC I already own.

Same, I do filter games here and there, but I typically enter only for wishlisted games. So, the feature doesn't have much use to me except to hide games and DLCs that I already own and still can enter for some reason.

Even looking at everything because I find it interesting to see what people are giving away the few times I bother looking these days I don't really find a use for the filter personally. Maybe it's because of some other general setting though. I don't see stuff I already own for example.

Same. Sometimes I look at Recommended too, but the first unfiltered page only very rarely, anything else pretty much never. I only filter games/dlc I already own and can't be picked up as owned, if I do notice them. Otherwise the mental filter is enough ...

+1, I'll enter giveaways for only what I want and private giveaways. No reason to take games I don't want away from people who do.

I like discovering games here, so filtering helps make that easier. It's also useful when going through giveaway trains.

As far as I can tell, that's all the DLC, re-issued AppIDs and stuff that Steam's shitty APIs say I don't own while the store pages and my library say I do.
Edit:
Well, checking back there's also DigiHom trash on that list, and the last thing the infamous Lord Kres still has on the store. That stuff can stay hidden.
