Redeemed it to my Uplay account although I already have it to see what happens, and yep, I now have two copies of the game in my library, one which I can play now and one that is "coming soon" and available for "preload". Good job, Ubisoft.

I tried to contact their support years ago about it already but I could not get anyone from their support to answer me even after waiting for an hour in chat. And nowadays I don't use Origin enough to be arsed to try again. But than you for the suggestion tho!

I'm afraid I can't confirm if it does because I already own the Season Pass and clicking on the new "coming soon" copy just directs to the same detail page with my already owned DLC, challenges, etc.

It's really not a bad game. It's not the best game ever either but it's worth a playthrough. The main story and characters aren't the best but it has good moments, and the missions are usually pretty fun. The mix of hacking, shooting, and stealth can make things really interesting. The side content is horrible though, just repetitive and bland. And it's absolutely gorgeous with graphics mods.

if you use blocking - ghostery, adblock, ublock, noscript ... disable them temporarily and try again
worked for me instantly once i disabled ghostery (tracking blocker)
