Hello,

Today is my birthday Saturday was my birthday and I wanted to celebrate it. I've been here for about 3 months and I'm so happy to have met so many wonderful people. So, thank you very much (less to the ungrateful).

I have created a puzzle that when completed will give you access to a train. Games are secret, but they're not bad at all ;)
I'll try to give some hints if I see that there aren't many participants, it's my first puzzle and I hope I did well, but there shouldn't be any problems to solve it.

Some info:

  • There is a total of 11 14 GAs
  • All of them First 11 are LVL+6 and last 3 are LVL+0
  • End on 29/05 at 12 CET
  • Don’t share any of the GA links

I want people join GAs of the games they are going to play, not +1.
I got the games a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure if they work. If so, let me know so I can replace the key or delete the giveaway.

Start here SOLUTION

Good luck!

P.S. Maybe I'll add people to my whitelist and make some more GAs

HINTS

  • Each wire's down direction is the border segment color it corresponds to.
    • This hint indicates that, for example, if the red border is at the bottom of the image, the wire/form/angle (don't know how to call it) of the matching color is in the correct orientation. Rotating the image can make it easier to see all the wires in the correct orientation. It's not necessary to move the wires, just know how to interpret them.
  • Each wire is a letter, you just need to know how to decode it.
  • The colors are only to determine the order. Follow the rainbow!
  • This image may help. Credits to Dog:

H'bday, DoggieMan!

About the puzzle: I don't think I got your tip right because English is not my first language, and I think I'm getting it wrong (my fault).
I tried to align the acute angles with the corresponding bases and formed a kind of strange star with a cut in the middle, but I think that is not exactly what you meant in your tip. Then I tried to connect the ends of the lines with the bases of the same color... Well, I think I managed to find something, but I don't think that's it. Anyway ... I'll wait for more tips.
This puzzle is interesting. : )

Thanks rurnhani.
I'm afraid it's not going that way. The hint indicates that, for example, if the red border is at the bottom of the image, the wire/L form/angle (don't know how to call it) of that color is in the correct way. It's not necessary to move them, just know how to interpret them.

Really cool looking puzzle. I slept 4 hours last night so I'll probably give it a go on a few more hours of sleep.

Well at least I'll be able to say that I tried.
Looking forward to the solution on this to get your process.

Reading the new hints confused me even more, lets try to clear something out.

By "down direction" do you mean the pointy tip of each "wire"? But if that's the case then the red wire isn't set up in the correct way as your second hint says. So I'm completely confused due to those contradictions.
Do we have to form an actual word from those letters for the password, or is it not a word but just letters in specific order?

Each "wire" matches a border color. With down direction I mean you just need to look from the "wire" to its corresponding border. If you rotate the image to get, for example the green border at the bottom, you now will see the green "wire" in the correct way but not the red.
You then need to know how to decode every wire. Each one is a letter that form a word. For their order, the colors may help you

The more hints I read the more confused I get so I'm just going to give up. Please post the solution after the giveaways end, I'll come and check it out afterwards.

Well. That's really tough for me. I've tried rotating borders, rotating wires. I can't see anything. I even don't know what am I supposed to see. At first I thought that there are clock hands and I should rotate it correctly to get the time and then number of a letter in the alphabet. I've tried to combine these lines from different angles. Do I need to measure those angles. I see that there are 90Β°, 30Β°, 45Β° e.t.c. I don't know. It's already 4 hours passed since I started this. I just cannot understand your logic. :(

You don't need to measure angles. One tip is to check the color of the border at the bottom, take note of how it is placed, rotate the image to have another color at the bottom and do the same. With this you should have a serie of angles of different shapes and directions. It would be lacking to know the order and the way to decode it I'm trying my best with the hints, so please keep asking if you are stuck. I'll try to help :)

I understood all this, it is not clear how to decode

πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚ I don't see any letters except a winking face, I would like to know the solution when the giveaways end. Thank you.

Maybe that's beacuse the wires are encoded letters, you have to figure out how it's encoded and then apply the hints :)

Love the effort you've put in. Making puzzles can be harder than solving them. My advice is to make sure there's enough information to "know" the answer without making guesses to how the puzzle creator is thinking. I always think back on The Secret of Monkey Island where you use a monkey as a wrench. Makes sense to the developers and it seems obvious once you know it. But really most people are going to look for an actual tool instead of thinking about smacking a living creature against metal for a pun.

Yup and when you were playing the Lucas Games, you at least had an inkling that puns and humor was playing a big part in the puzzles so you did have some kind of context.

Is the final answer an English word? Or just random combination of letters?

Thanks! Yes, it's a seven-letter word in English.
