IMO it can still be readily solved regardless of the colours...so don't be too discouraged by this.

The colors help you to figure out the order of the letters but also the proper directions of the shapes.
Ping me if you can't figure things out. I made a color-free version for myself because the colors were distracting me. I'll be happy to share.

Added new hints and modified the existing ones a little bit
I felt bad making the GAs LVL+6, so I've just added 3 more that are LVL+0 π

There is no relation between these two things. The rainbow is just for ordering the letters. The image may help you to know how it is encoded

OK so...
7 letters for the word
solaire helps/fights you in darksouls via soapstone
shapes when redrawn are IV ll and i want to say a traingle and something that looks like a k
and the colors are assigned via the other hint

The answer is not related to Dark Souls. The image with Solaire tries to help to find the decode method for the wires. Look what he is doing and it may help you find it, Google is your friend. You don't need to move the wires, just decode with the proper decode method. The colors mark their order.

i keep trying but im getting nowhere. after assigning a letter to each wire is there another step of taking those letters and decoding them? are the borders used outside of seeing the wires in the correct orientation?

No, decoding the wires should give you a seven-letter word. The borders help to see its correct orientation (from the wire to the border)

I think before adding the new hints ~15 people solved it. Right now there are 38 solvers and some of them have said that thanks to the new hints they've been able to solve it, especially with the image.

Don't worry about it. I get that's what the image is intended to do. As a puzzle maker, I know from experience that making up hints is hard because you tend to work backward from the solution and hints don't always make sense to people who are trying to get to the solution.

I checked the thread a few days ago when there wasn't any hints. I was wondering what I should do and honestly had no clue so I said to myself that I'll check it out later if there will be any clues added.
When I saw that the thread got updated with new clues, everything suddenly made sense. I was overthinking a lot of stuff in the puzzle, its almost too easy now. (Compared to what it was before the clues were added :D) But I know that its just a point of view (its just about getting the idea of the puzzle and googling a bit).

Today is my birthdaySaturday was my birthday and I wanted to celebrate it. I've been here for about 3 months and I'm so happy to have met so many wonderful people. So, thank you very much (less to the ungrateful).I have created a puzzle that when completed will give you access to a train. Games are secret, but they're not bad at all ;)
I'll try to give some hints if I see that there aren't many participants, it's my first puzzle and I hope I did well, but there shouldn't be any problems to solve it.
