When seeing the puzzle for the 1st time (before the hints) I thought it'd be mathematical/geometrical puzzle, but apparently I couldn't have been farther from the truth :p
I failed at the decoding part, and unless time grants me free ideas, I'll simply wait for the solution, as I'm still curious about the logic behind the puzzle.

What is a "wire's down direction"? Are you talking about the "point" of the angle? Unless that hint being confusing is part of the puzzle

Yeah, I just don't know what else it could mean. Maybe it's the direction of one of the 2 lines that make up the angle? But I don't know how you would tell which is the "down" one.

Well, I guess I'm out of ideas, at least for today. I got the angles in their correct rotation and order, but I got no idea how the sUn will help figure out the letters. Great puzzle, certainly a challenge

If you mean 45°, 90°... then no. You can solve it without the image, just tries to help to know the way it is encoded.

I oriented and ordered the 'wires', after that all I could think about was clocks.. xD
I got that 'Y-pose = U', but it wasn't enough for me
now that I saw the solution I can only say: nice job! clever way for encoding, I'd never thought about that ;)

This is a bump comment
So i turn the image every time i need a wire or a colour... i found wires and colours... But there are only 3 types of letters and that makes no sense in English.

You don't need to move the wires, each one is an encoded letter and you need to know how to decode them

I keep coming back but I'm sadly getting nowhere. Yellow being a straight line keeps throwing many theories out by breaking the pattern. It even seems to contradict the first hint since what is defined to be the "down" direction can't be determined in the same way for every wire unless when the matching border is in position, there is a clear point that is most down. But rotating so yellow is at the bottom makes the yellow wire completely horizontal.

The yellow wire completely horizontal is the correct way to see it, apply the same to the other wires and you'll get them too

Is the "U" being larger significant? I am trying to figure out what connection the dark souls picture has to multicolored lines. Also, why do you call them "wires?" Is that significant as well? I think I understand how to organize the letters, but I can't find any logic to the shape of the lines

The image is intended to help to know how to decode the letters. Looking at Solaire may help with that, but the answer it's not related to Dark Souls. I call them wires because I don't know how to call them haha.

I think these are enough hints to solve it... But take a look at what Solaire does and search for a decode method. Google is your friend :)

Hello,
Today is my birthdaySaturday was my birthday and I wanted to celebrate it. I've been here for about 3 months and I'm so happy to have met so many wonderful people. So, thank you very much (less to the ungrateful).I have created a puzzle that when completed will give you access to a train. Games are secret, but they're not bad at all ;)
I'll try to give some hints if I see that there aren't many participants, it's my first puzzle and I hope I did well, but there shouldn't be any problems to solve it.

I got the games a few weeks ago, so I'm not sure if they work. If so, let me know so I can replace the key or delete the giveaway.
