Did you actually try to ask them at least not to talk about it in front of you ? Its hard to change someone from minute to minute. I cant say its the same, but its similar to my case. I extremely hate smoking (I totally cant stand it) and one of my friends was a heavy smoker. I asked him (politely) not to smoke in front of me, that I dont like that. He accepted it and since we hang out together a lot, after approximately a month, he found out that whole smoking was plainly stupid and ended with it. Just try to tell them your opinion about that whole thing, giving a try wont kill you.

Well, the obvious solution is to tell them you are sick with Ebola virus and they should go without you, secretly follow them when they leave, wait till they are in strip club, burn the club down and pee on their ashes.

Maybe your friends just have a taste for art and appreciate pole dancing in particular. Just let it go, it's not like the strippers are doing it against their will: easy money, loads of attention from men and a casual workplace dress code :)

Don't bring religion into it, but integrity itself. If they are as shallow and mindless enough to blindly enjoy paying a girl for her to dance on your lap, then go ahead, but don't allow them to push that into you.

Of course, the girl has the right to make her money the way she wants it, and there will be always a demographic for it (that is shallow, mindless and extremely simple minded attitude towards the different sex), but simply stating that that is not the way you think about women should be enough, if it isn't, then why are you hanging with them in the first place?

Well from what I've read, you ARE gay.

Don't go, lead by example. Clearly state why you don't go. your friends seeing that you have more integrity than them will spark a chain reaction, eventually, all men will follow by your example. Then all strip clubs will close because there is no business, many many women will be out of jobs, homeless, and drop out of college. but we can all rest easy knowing that men are no longer objectifying women.

I do agree, stripclubs are not places that appeal to me either. The idea of paying for attention is just pathetic in my opinion. I have the same thoughts regarding prostitution. How can you enjoy yourself if this chick is taking your money in exchange? It just doesn't sit right with me.

I've been dragged along to strip clubs only a few times. The women are hot enough but the biggest turn off is the glazed, disinterested looks on their faces. The noise, expensive drinks, and almost palpable funk of depressed people (staff and patrons) just makes me not wanna be there.
