Gamers Gate is sending out refunds for Borderlands 2 4 pack and Bethesda collection

At least I kept my BL2 Season Pass at 75% off.

Mine is already gone. I've managed to send the giftable copies away to some friends in case they work. If anybody is considering making a colective demand or something I'm willing to join it.

I'd say we boycott them as a whole. I'd understand if they'd caught this right away and were like sorry we can't give you your keys but to tell you that it'd be restocked in January and you will be getting your games then tell you a week later LOLNO is kind of bullshit.

Meanwhile in GamersGate. I am not mad, but I think this is starting of their dead. It's their mistake and their fault. And I think there will be lot of pissed of people on SteamTrades, who changed their games for BL2 keys.

I wonder what they're going to do with the "additional compensation" thing. Maybe 10% off vouchers or something.

Do they only delete Borderlands 2 from the library of people?
Whats with the Bethesda New Year-Pack they sold a few days ago? Do you still get the keys in january?

I say that we give them a couple or days, so they can think about what they have done
and return the games to us OR to see if this "additional compensation" is worth it...

If neither of those work, I think we're a community strong enough to let all the others games in the world
know about this so they stop using the website and we see gamersgate.com closed for good

I actually think this is a really bad idea. I activated only one key to Fallout New Vegas (It was the only game I wanted) and I decided to keep the rest for shenanigans. Turns out they refunded me full $28.75 but I still get to keep Fallout New Vegas? That's pretty awesome in a sense. And if they do refund me BL2, I have the Steam Key to one already, which is completely fine by me.

Man....I refreshed for like a couple of hours to get the order...

So far for me at least they have only took Borderlands 2 back and refunded that. They never took the Bethesda pack or refunded that though. I did have all of my keys revealed and activated, and in some cases traded :/ for that though except Fallout 3 GOTY.

What they've done is unethical but not illegal. The only real issue I have is that there are a number of customers who were able to access, activate and trade keys whereas others could not and they still receive a full refund. It means people will feel like the system is unfair and that they lost out even if they got all their money back. Flawed system but I wouldn't expect anything less from such an incompetent company.

What? Why give keys to some people and then make a statement that heavily implies you are honoring the sale ("Because of the high demand on this bundle we have ran out of serials for most of the titles. Unfortunately, we will not get new serials until middle of January next year.") and then refund it? Super big no-no. Well, I rarely use the "I won't be buying from them anymore" rant but right about now I'm pretty fucking pissed, was so happy to make a few big giveaways, now I have to delete the one I already made because GamersGate can't get their own shit together. At least I only made one giveaway so far >.>

then again i paid 18 euro for this pack and already claimed 3 cd keys, so they might just let me go

All the complaints on their facebook page .. and not a single response from the company. I really wish I had bought the season pass from GMG instead (and that they announced it sooner .. lol), playing without worrying about this crap is more important than $2.50 :-/

I'm confused about what will happen to the two copies I ordered...

Copy #1: I sent away all but two of the games to my brother (we were going to split the cost). I activated one of the games I kept, but the other had no key available. The no key available game has vanished from my library. My brother could only get a key for one of the games I gave him, but all of the games are still in his library.

Copy #2: Was bought as a gift copy and sent to my boyfriend. He received it and the collection was added to his library, but last he checked, he couldn't do anything with it or even see the individual games in the bundle.

As of this morning, I have received one refund email from Gamers Gate. I am so confused...

Looks like GamersGate has dropped the ball on this one. Not a good look.

Open a dispute through paypal. :) That will teach them to send out refunds quickly - as when so many disputes pile up, it will damage their reputation in paypal's eyes.
