I have never received any game, except the games I got through Steamgifts. Probably because I am the one who give away games to my friends, clan members, steamgifts, etc.

I got a lots of games from my friends :3 but I gave a lot of games to friends myself, too.

Yes. My first steam gift was a total surprise from my girlfriend. Even though her interest for games is little compared to mine, she knew I liked the Witcher series and picked the first one up for me so I could get the second. Still a heartwarming memory and I still thank her for it. She really knows the way to a gamer's heart. xD

Steam gave me Dungeon of Dremors and Portal for free, also got Sims 3 starter from friend when i said him that i looking for it.

I was trying to buy Humble Origin Bundle and one generous person PM-ed me 1$ version of it :)

I also have gifted away a few steam gifts to friends...

apart from SG wins and the likes, a real life friend gifted me a L4D pack for some coop together and two steam buddies gifted me games i had on wishlist just because of that. ah, and once an awesome steamgifter wanted to gift me a wishlist game during a chat, he even dropped the key, which i kindly refused :))

A friend and me are gifting us small games or DLC on steam every christmas, because we don't live in the same town.
An exception was last christmas, because we celebrated new years eve together with some other friends.
So I gifted him a T-Shirt, but he gifted me an game (Shootmania) anyway. xD
A few months ago he gifted me Trackmania 2 Stadium out of the blue, so we could play together.

I got Portal 2 from a very nice person on a very nice forum. Still remember the good deed.
