I think it depends on where you go. It's certainly common here in New York. I want to say that it could be possible anywhere outside of Ohio. I haven't exactly taken any regional polls so can't say for sure. Anyway, it has to do with the way he has conducted himself over the years, in particular earlier in his career, poor decisions that were made and how he always came off as a diva. I've also been following the NBA closely for the better part of 2 decades and I don't think I've ever seen anyone complain and cry to the refs as much as he does while simultaneously getting away with everything that he does (tons of offensive fouls that are almost never called) and while also conveniently ignoring that fact.

Respect to the enthusiasm in this train! Earliest one I can recall was 1982. Probably a page advert in a Speccy mag.

Um, definitely meant 1992, which would have been an Amiga mag :)

Barca - I had a quick Google to see if a computer game ad used the graphic and a US Gold Olympics tie-in did, but I'm not sure that's the memory I was after. I wasn't especially sporty then, so it's a bit vague.

What a magnificent train. Hmmm... random Olympics factoid/trivia question:
Togo's only-ever Olympic medalist, 2008's Benjamin Boukpeti, who won a bronze medal in 2008 for the K1 slalom kayak, promised to do an unusual thing after winning his medal. What did he promise to do?
He promised to visit Togo. Boukpeti had actually only been to Togo once. He has dual citizenship in France (his mother is French), but decided to compete for Togo in 2008 when it became clear he might not make the French team.

Wow, this train was so long that I needed a break before clicking on the last "next" link! I cannot enter so many great givaways without leaving a

The olympics have started! And what better way to celebrate coming together than taking a train through the history of poster art from the Olympics. I've gathered up posters from all olympic events and offered my comments on them for a total of 52 stops and 88 images.
Do you want to make the train even more awesome? Leave factoids, personal opinions, challenge my critiques and above all, correct me if I've made any errors!
Take a ride on the olympic train!
Thanks for all the factoids, feedback and response. I'm slowly going through all your comments. First time I've "broken the meter":
