These Monster hunter games looks too much anime for me. Guess I will stick with Mila Jovochovich movies. Still haven't seen Monster hunter movie, is it really THAT bad as people say?

Yeah, it was bad. Like, it wasn't even so bad it was good. It was simply boring, a movie about HUGE MONSTERS. It takes some effort to make such a bad movie.

I saw the movie and it's harmless B-movie fun. Kind of like the Resident Evil ones.
Not great but not bad either. It probably helps if you've never played MH (like me) and have no expectations of what it or more specifically how it should play out.

I always hated how Monster Hunter was limited to specific consoles (first Sony, then Nintendo). World was my second game from the series (big jump from Freedom Unite) and I'm looking forward to more MH on PC.

It was already pretty much a fact that PC is the best platform, but with the games we've been getting in recent years it's undeniable that PC is the place to be.

I bought MHW very early on and had some connection issues to play with my friend, it gave me a bit of a dismay. And then I suffered a lot to play because I chose the archer class and after that I didn't play again.
I've been seeing this new MHR and I liked it, if I win I will play for sure!

By archer class you meant bow? That's the most strongest weapon though but it isn't like other games that you are locked to a certain 'class' forever. You can build and swap between all weapon types fine so should go and try out all of them to see which one you like most :)

I played World way too much (didn't try Iceborne though, I heard optimization wasn't great and the game was already full of slowdowns after the arch tempereds were added in) so I really don't know if I'll end up playing Rise or not. That and I don't even know if I want it on PC or Switch if I end up playing it :x

Yeah, I like playing on Switch and have made it far by repeatedly checking it out from my library, but the PC version with the nicer textures and resolutions and everything sound too nice. So of course if I'm lucky enough I'll choose to play on PC, XP.

honestly any game above 800 pesos is very hard to afford if you still want to have food for the rest of the month
its horrible to know that every single game that isnt uber trash is always around 3.500 basic price .
that's why there is so much piracy, we are forced to that, but some games are just so good you just wish you could actually get them tbh
and buying steam wallet codes with usd over here is impossible, because we get hit with the tax, heck even loading 100 pesos into our steam wallet ends up being around 170 pesos, and that's the smallest tax/fee we have
thats why i lurk so much around here, in hopes i could get a game from my wishlist X3

yeah but.. to be honest i always feel like a burden to everyone. and making him haveing to go walk to whatever store which might be far just to get me a code so i can buy 1 very cheap game, it just makes me feel bad :_

i think the problems started with the vpn users buying stuff in pesos some years ago. since it all began all the prices jumped from affordable to incredibly expensive. now with all the fees and the economy dying , the only escape from reality you can get, is even more impossible to get ;w;'
