Metal Gear Solid 3, that ending... I couldn't pull the trigger :( And when I saw Snake crying at the grave, I wanted to cry myself...
Final Fantasy X,
Persona 4 & Persona 3 - but I prefer the story in P4.
Shadow of the Colossus - This game is just pure awesome, I couldn't believe what an impact it was to me to lose Agro (the horse),
Okami - such a beautiful game, it's not only a game, it's a f*cking masterpiece.

Shadow of the Collosus and MGS3 +1, I almost cry at the end of Shadow of the Colossus, never cried in any games before.

A great deal of games actually..
Planescape Torment was the most powerful one for me.
Deus Ex: HR
Portal 1&2
Mass Effect series
Anachronox
Homeworld 1
Arcanum
Fallout 3
HL2: Episode 2
E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy
Dead Space
TRAUMA
KOTOR 1
Machinarium
World of Goo
Saira
Killing Floor
Dear Esther
Korsakovia
one campaign from Heroes of Might and Magic 4
Bastion
Space Marine
LIMBO
Fahrenheit (The first half anyway)
Zombie Shooter 2 (No, really)
Zeno Clash
DEFCON
That's what i remember right now, there were others that i can't remember right now though. I can expand/explain later if anyone's curious, but now i have to go.

Still, that's a lot. I don't even know how I would be touched by Killing Floor. Being a Troll may suck.

Killing Floor affects me emotionally. It's really tense and hectic trying to stay alive when you have 30~ specimens coming at you (dat survival horror). Flesh pounds scare me quite a bit too, whenever I see one I start trying to put others in between the flesh pound and I.

I can say it tenses me up, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it affects me emotionally. Must suck being hte shield for you :p

Maybe, but any game has the potential to make you feel tense to some degree. I got the feeling this thread was for those special games that touch you in other ways.

Each person feels differently the same emotion but on different levels. For me, to feel tense isn't near enough to be called an emotion.
thejadefalcon described quite well how I read the OP.

The grungy atmosphere makes me really nauseous and drained after finishing a match, in addition to the hectic survival aspect. I consider that an emotional response. But it's good, i like that feeling.
The OP didn't clarify any specific emotions, and the games i listed made me feel a wide range of them.

I'll say the same thing as just above, and add that maybe I'm also a bit less emotive than a number of people, though I do sometimes laugh like a maniac for simple reasons :)

Ok, I will try to list some Steam games:

Chrono Cross. Helped shape my views on life and the world.
Metal Gear Solid 2 and especially Metal Gear Solid 4. Just.. wow. Absolutely unbelievable. The last thing you control in 3 was pretty tough as well.
Then I guess Demon's Souls, I actually felt proud of myself after I finally got through a spot that gave me trouble. When I beat it it was amazing. Oh yeah, SCREW YOU FLAMELURKER.

Metal Gear Solid 3. The manliest man who ever manned follows up the most heartfelt speech about why everybody who's not The Boss should be grateful for The Boss because they'll never be as great as The Boss, with the manliest tear from beneath his eyepatch BECAUSE HE JUST LOST AN EYE LIKE TWO DAYS EARLIER.
UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH MANLY SADNESS BONER ACTIVATE

c'mon man, dead space?? that game makes you cry... OF FEAR!

Chrono trigger. Not crying, laughing, shouting etc but thoughts. It had a really good story.

maybe Dear Esther, 1 hour long, but really emotional story... Also try Alan Wake, the story will twist you mind!

I second Dear Esther and Alan Wake. Also Bioshock ("Good/Best" Ending).

Thief. All of them.
Arcanum.
Planescape Torment, Baldurs Gate.
I recommend them all. Their stories got me involved and touched me like a good book. And the killing was nice too ^^ unless of course you had to get in and out without the whole police station noticing you.
Sigh... seems like I am too emotional for my own good :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nnol8Y2aBT0 <-- First Dream you come to in Lost Odyssey also the saddest thing I've ever seen in a video game.

Can you recommend your favorite book? I have yet to feel touched by a book...

Well, I read mostly fantasy but a few good ones I connected with emotionally in some shape or form: (trying to list them in order of how much they affected me)
Temeraire (series) - this is a definite #1 for me.
Harry Potter
Kingkiller chronicles
The Dresden files (some books more than others, but as a whole worth listing)

This reminds me I still have to read the last Harry Potter book. I've read all of them minus the last one.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Seeing as I already played FF7 I knew what was going to happen so the end wasnt very dramatic. It did help that they gave you the illusion that you could change things though.
I would have to say for most people it would be HoN/LoL/Dota and the emotion would be anger.

And by that I mean you cried, you were happy, scared.. A game that actually made you show an emotion.
For me it would be Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. THIS GAME. THIS GODDAMN GAME.
To put it simply the ending made me teary-eyed. And when I think about it I get all depressed again.
Edit: If possible I'd like to keep this spoiler free, or at least give a BIG warning in your post
