Is. There is a stackable coupon.

Bless you. That clinches it. I just bought my copy.

The coupon lasts until 1/1/2016 though, so I'll be able to get it during the Winter Sale as well probably.
I am waiting for some non-addicts to answer :P

If you can't play it until 2016 then there's no point getting it now. In the Autumn/Winter sale it will almost certainly be cheaper, or at the very least it won't be any more expensive than it is right now.
It is a great game though. Well worth the price it's at now if you were able to play it right away.

If you have coupon, it should be a great deal. Even with 75% discount at Winter Sale, you saving less than 2€ with waiting, so if you want to play it soon, buy it now.

There is no way I'll play any new game other than the one I started.
I mentioned you what is going on in my life right now, plus the obligations, plus getting sick as I am now.
Waiting seems like a better option. I would probably buy it if I had wallet money right now though.

Thank you everyone so far. I am short on cash right now (spent all on giveaways here haha), and by the Winter Sale I should be able to sell some items, or add wallet money.
Plus it might go on a bigger sale then, so I think I'll wait.

the 95% rule is always in comparison with the Steam store price, no matter if a game is region locked or which region beats the 95% discount.

With Shadow Warrior (another game with stackable coupons) happened something similar months ago.

I bought it with Alienware coupon for about 3$. I'm happy.
Comment has been collapsed.
Were you paying attention? Lol You need to add the coupon from Alienware.
Comment has been collapsed.
That is with the coupon added.
Steam automatically will add any coupon applicable when you checkout.
$13.59 is the price with the 66% discount, after adding the coupon $6.79 is the purchase price.

What, do you guys have the full package with DLCs that costs 40 $?
Because full price is 20 euros for me without any DLCs, and I can't buy them together with the game in a pack.
Comment has been collapsed.
Nope, just the game without any DLCs. For me it's 6.79 euros though.
I'd definitely buy it for 3.40€ but not for 6.79€. Lame.

I am so sorry for your loss. T_T
I cannot believe this. Both prices are in euros, but half times more expensive with no additional content!? :O

Ah, don't worry, it's alright, I will be fine haha. It's a little annoying but oh well.

I guess I am the lucky one. I had no idea about this.

indeed you are. its eu2 base price is just ~1€ more than ours but you get a row copy. perks of eu2 devs i guess. croatia iirc.

Haha, I'm from Bosnia & Herzegovina, but close enough!
Comment has been collapsed.
yup, i checked it out. that's how i know you're from eu2. i meant the devs.

Omg, I had no idea about this as well! I should move to Croatia then, if I ever want to make my own adventure game, (probably in collaboration with someone).
Gaming industry is a bit small in my country....
I feel so proud of my neighbours now! ^_^

Well their name is "CroTeam" lol. What did you think it stands for?
Aside from Serious Sam series and The Talos Principle which were made by CroTeam, other games made by Croatian developers include: Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World, The Red Solstice, Starpoint Gemini 1 & 2, Gas Guzzlers Extreme and several others.
One of my favorite games made by Croatian developers is Bluppo, which is a DOS game, made many years ago. It's one of my favorite games from my childhood.

Thanks for the heads up, I was waiting for this price instead of 50% off.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well with the coupon:
half price of 66% discount is 83% off
half price of 75% discount is 87.5% off
It's your call, buy it now for 17% (6.8$ for 40$ base price) or
wait for the winter sale and get it for 12.5% (5$ for 40$ base price)
Is there even a small chance that the stackable coupons can be changed into normal coupons by then?
Comment has been collapsed.
Noice, and i had a 50% discount coupon for it that applied to the purchase.

So Midweek Madness on Steam has some sweet titles on sale now, one of them being The Talos Principle at 66%
And I still have that 50 % stackable Alienware coupon for it.
So what do you think guys? Should I get it now or wait for the Winter Sale?
Do you think it will be at least 75% off on the Winter Sale?
I really want the game, but with current obligations and exams, I wouldn't be able to play it by New Years Eve anyhow....
Oh and coupon expires on 1/1/2016, so there is a possibility to buy it during Winter Sale if it goes on Sale before New Years Eve.
