I thought the reason everyone came here was to win free games, but a few people like it so much that they wanted to give back.

A bit of both. I like to give away extras because I don't need them and want to see someone else enjoy the game.

Of course, winning is fun too, but I'm never upset about my win rate haha!

Took me about a year here to win my first game, but when I did, I wasn't complaining about the year of nothing, all I could think about was the satisfaction of winning :) No matter how long it takes, it still feels good (and was worth the wait) :D
